For a good bulk of my TV-life, Buffy has been my favourite show of all time. I'm not going delve into specifics as to why – I think they're fairly obvious.

I grew up with it, season by season, and it always surprised me.

Well all that has changed.

BSG, for a spell was my favourite show. Firefly, too. But then I'd always watch Buffy and it would climb right back up to that top spot. I wonder if it'll happen again. I highly doubt it. I think I'll address Buffy as my favourite sci-fi show of all time from now on =)

My favourite show is Six Feet Under. If you have never watched this show, or just caught a random episode, please, do yourself a favour and start this show – then finish it!

Without a doubt one of the most exceptional pieces of television; what turned this into a masterpiece was its final episode. Heck, its final season. The ending, though? It was perfect. Its season finale was PERFECT. No flaws. It's probably the only episode I think ever, truly deserves a 10/10 rating.

Ya might not know it with True Blood, which is truly entertaining fluff, but Alan Ball is a genius. I really do love American Beauty, but Six Feet Under is an entirely different animal. Masterful writing and a wonderful staff of writers/directors, with some of the best actors within the industry, SFU was a bundle of emotion to watch.

I just thought I should blog this little bit, since I did leave you guys on a bit of a cliff-hanger with regards to the show and if it would ever become my new fave.

Also, I'm back to relative normalcy in work, so I'll be back to commenting on blogs, reviewing and blogging =)

I'll be doing a total SFU run-down for my next blog. Also working on a music video, too =P

I can think of a few episodes that deserve a 10/10 rating, but no show really deserves it I doubt I'll ever love any show the way I love Angel, which is my favorite show. The shows that come close have only stayed close for a while even. I'll finnish Six Feet Under after I finnish Battlestar Galactica, because I really wanna catch up with that before the movie

Hey Daria! Angel is one of my fave shows, too. S5, or it's second half more like, was just amazing TV. Oooh, well you're in for some awesome treats with both shows1

Buffy is my favorite. Not my favorite for a specific genre, just my favorite. The best. I thought I loved TV before Buffy, but Buffy changed everything for me. I had never been that in love with TV, or excited about plot lines, arcs, and buying every book or magazine that came along. It was a whole new world to me. There has never been anything like it before or since for me, and I seriously doubt there will ever be anything ever again that will have that "magic" for me. Well, "Angel", but other than those two!. Lol.

I am glad, I really love SFU as well. And you are right, best series finale ever! I admit, I think the quality of the show is amazing at first, then it gets a little less interesting for me and then it gets great again. LOve the show, I should rewatch it myself. Take care Mark! Oh, and by the way, me, I am new to the Battlestar Galactica obsession. Great show, as well.

I must must get back into SFU!! I just need to find a decent stream of it and then I can start watching! When I went to watch it a few weeks ago, the episode order on the streaming site was all messed up, so I gave up again. Must try and squeeze it in again!!

I've done that with my favourite shows- catergorised them so that I know have 4 favourite shows under the categories of comedy, drama, sci-fi and dramedy (I know I know the last one is a slight stretch on category) I think it makes picking a fave show easier.

I'll always like Buffy but it's something I don't really go back and watch much anymore - but I'm sure I'll go through a Buffy phase at some point or other again Six Feet Under was definitely a great show, I'm glad I watched it and you're right the ending is absolutely flawless - think it's my favourite show finale across every show I've seen. Although, I agree with Ela, I loved the early seasons, and the final season but the middle got a little tired for me... I'm really glad it came back and was amazing again final season though Michael C Hall is always brilliant though, Anyway won't ramble - SFU is a good favourite show

I'm more of an Angel person. But Buffy had it's moments. I watched it from episode 1 all the way to the end myself.

I tried watching Six Feet Under for a few episodes and just could not get into it. Now Micheal C. Hall is just awesome on Dexter, so that makes me happy.

I also watched True Blood for a while and again could not get into it. The show is solid, but it's just not for me.

I can't say Buffy, BSG, or SFU have become my favorites, but they're all great shows, probably making it to my top 20, if ever I had a list of the sort. SFU's series finale is still No.1 of all-time! I dare not give a 10/10, but those last six minutes or so were simply amazing! Good luck with that music video.

Buffy was the show that introduced to primetime TV! Followed the show from when I was 8 til I was 14 and loved every minute of this series. The characters, the dialogue, the fight scenes, the special effetcts etc. were all top notch and ground-breaking. I find the older I get, the more I enjoy re-watching the series from start to finish and that there is special!
