What happens when Hollywood runs out of ideas and turns to Michael Bay to create a remake of one of the best horror movies of all time? Well... nothing really just the waste of 90 minutes of your life. At first it looked like it had some potential, but then it ruined everything by not having uhhmmm whats that one thing that you have in movies.... uhmm .. plot. Thats it, thats the one. They set the story up in the beginning and then just let Jason on the loose killing people.. over and over and over. Nothing interesting, no twists in the end, just great effects from Michael Bay.
Thats basically it. I guess its a decent movie compared to some of the crappy horror stuff they have now, but its nothing special.

@gummy joe: Yeah did you see it yourself? I like the very first one because it was all mind games and Jason didn't even appear in it. This one was just straight up mass murder.

I figured this will happen. Well I am not even going to bother go seeing it in theaters then.

I guess they are just hoping the name will sell it alone. Which they may be slightly right on that.

I know what ya mean man. It isn't respectable at all. But that's Hollywood for you. I guess Jason isn't the only one doing the slaughtering!

@themovi3nut: I don't hate everything Bay does, but he did ruin some movie remakes...this one being probably one of the worst. Other than that I think hes a respectable director. Plus I think a boycott would be a longshot.

I actually "wat'd" when they just cut in the middle of the movie to "friday the 13th"
