I believe Spiderman 3 to be on par with the second film, but not quite as good as the first. The amount of conflicts in this movie is almost overwhelming though. Peter has conflicts with Harry, Mary Jane, Venom, Sandman, and even himself for crying out loud. It seems weird that they could fit that much into a movie to resolve it in two and half hours. The action of the film was really good, and there was plenty of it, but it seemed just a little too fake. The cast did a good job, but some scenes could of used improvement. The villains were all really cool. Venom was especially cool, but I was hoping for a little more. The movie did manage to be humorous like the previous films, but J.K. Simmons as Jonah Jamenson while funny he wasn't as funny as he was in the first two movies or as funny as I'd hoped either. With all of the let downs though it still was good Spiderman film and the story while complicated and annoying at times still managed to be an interesting and enjoyable movie, but I can't help but feel there could of better way of ending it.

Vampires vs. Werewolves in a modern setting, after they've been at war for centuries?(It doesn't get much is cooler than that) The actual story of the movie however isn't quite as cool as the background and could cause a little confusion for some, but the action of the film makes up for that. The cast wasn't at their best, but they still got the job done and made their characters' cool one way or another which made this film even more interesting. So basically cool characters, an awesome background and setting, along with Vampires and Werewolves fighting eachother equals a win in my book.

Smokin' Aces is a film that had potential, but it didn't cash in. The plot seemed good on paper, but when it was translated to the big screen the translater must have been using the wrong languages. This movie however is action packed, but it was apparently packed by a blind man. That all said the movie didn't really drag, and the good cast though not at the top of their game did a good enough job, and there was some humor in the movie too. So if you're looking for a movie filled with reckless action this might be the movie for you, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

It had the perfect mix of pretty much everything, dialogue, action, narration. And the interesting effects and using black and white for the majority of things in the movie was genius and fit perfectly. It may be the corny, but its corny in a good way. The action sequences were great and there was plenty of them. It's just this style of movie that I enjoy. The acting for the most part was good, but nothing award worthy. The movie did manage to be funny in some spots, which is always good. I also noticed during the battles there was rock music in the background, which is something you rarely see in any historical film, but it worked out well. The overall acting was above average, but some of it was awkward at times, and some of the dialogue could of had more thought put into it. The plot itself was pretty good, but left the movie with an undesirable cliff hanger ending. The movie is reccomendable, but should only be seen by people with an interest in the story or even just one of the few trailers, since they actually do a good job at showing what you'll be getting.
