For the summer assignment we had to read this book called the Chosen by Chaim Potok. Now I have to do a report on Chaim Potok, and four character collages for Reuven, Danny and both their dads. Then I have to do a report on each character about their role and importance in the novel. So if you've read it, help me out with the collage. I'm having a bit of trouble filling up the pages with pictures and the reports because well, I wasn't very keen on this book, along with it's [insert bad word]ing project.

It's the last day of July, which means that I only have august, and 4 days until school starts. Usually summer is a time where I play outside for a month then get bored and can't wait for school to start. Except this summer, I really don't want school to start yet...it hit me the other day that you only get so many summer vacations in your life unless you grow up to be a teacher. you only get 12 summer vacations in your life. And I've carelessly used up almost 8 of those! Eek! Pretty much I have less than 4 summer vacations left of my entire life.

Jag made it with Rory to the final two, and you think it's all fine and dandy, but then they hit you with this huge surprise.Jag said that he served in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan, and graduated from culinary school in New York, neither of which is true. With all the scandals, Jag finally sets the record straight with Bob what's his face and Susie Fogelson and decides to withdraw from the contest. Then they bring back Amy and have champagne.

OH MY GOSH. First of all, I think we all noticed something kind of funny about Jag from the start. There was something fishy about him. Secondly, how could he think that he could get away with BSing like that? That's such a dumb reason for him to withdraw. Not that I'm saying he shouldn't have withdrawn, but it's such a dumb mistake! Why couldn't he just tell the truth? Because of course the lies would come out some day. And that day was today...or whenever that thing was taped. Well. that's just living proof of karma: what goes around, comes around. So long, Jag.
