Why didn't I go 3 days earlier?? (+ Kirby update)

Well, I'll start off by apologizing for the Kirby Theme vid not being up yet. My buddy has the video, and he's been running into problems putting it onto youtube.

Okay! Now to the real news. Arch Enemyis coming to town. Ha, I call it town. Huge event,massive, EPIC! Oh-ho man these guys are one of my favorite bands. They never leave Europe,so I consider this show to be a once in a life time event. So I walked upto the Ticketmaster booth in a self-assured stride, layed my (about $50) on the counter and asked for a ticket for the Arch Enemy show. They were sold out.Trying to stomach the news, I quickly shoved the money back into my pocket andhalf-skipped out ofthe store. If only I left with my very-good-friend three days earlier to get a ticket with him!!!

So what was I to do? In my newborn lunacy I found myself standing in the game store. Fingering the crinkled bills, I anxiously slapped the money on the counter. Took a few (free) surgical masks while I was at it for the subway ride back home--and walked away with the first God of War.

Haha so maybe I'm over-dramatizing the event . Thanks for reading everyone!

Lol, interesting story. That would really suck though. I'm not into Arch Enemy that much, but since they're one of your faves I definitely understand the suck. Same thing happened with me and Dethklok last year. Coincidentally enough I'm going to a concert today. Kreator is headlining with Exodus, Warbringer, Belphegor, and Epicuricon opening. Should be fun. Hope you have a good time with God of War and your surgical masks!

Wow man that sucks. Arch Enemy is really cool I haven't seen them either so maybe one day we will. I'm pretty shocked you got GOW. I didn't think you were into that series

It sucks they sold out. I'm sure one day you'll get another chance to see them though. God of War is a pretty random game for you I haven't played it myself but I have a friend who is really into it.

slaves- definately! Haha I hope they visit the east coast sometime within the next four years!!

@ polarmanda - I sure do hope so. I may get the chance to see them again, but to go to a show this big..just for them..no probably never.

And to the both of you or whoever is curious- Yeah haha God of War is a random game for me. I have my slew of 'random games' though. For example Prince of Persia: Sands of Time & The Two Thrones, Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear Solid 1-3, Ico, and Psychonauts (which I never got much into btw). I don't know much about Psychonauts, but I'm sure it's apparent that all of said games are outstanding, espcially in their particular genre. *What do you guys think of God of War/God of War 2??

GoW is the best looking game on the PS2 but there's something that i didn't like about it and I don't know what. Anyway, enjoy.

GOW is a pretty good game, so not all bad. Never heard of that band before but i have to say i stopped that video at 20 seconds in and have no clue why they would be sold out. I hate that sort of music.

Wait...my mind just caught up, was that a woman screaming like a dude? 0_o

GoW is a great game, not really the type of game I thought you would like but then again I didn't think PoP was the type of game you liked either

Man, I say you go out to concert and by some scalped tickets. XD

Sucks that you have to miss out on the concert...but, at least God of War is awesome. So that should help you cope just a little.
