Hey GameSpotters!
This is about my gaming progress.
Sorry, no rant about the GS life today. Maybe some other time. ![]()
However, I just finished Wet for the X360, and here's the nice review for it.
What do I mean by nice? This review is my opinion but... what I really want to say about it, is not review friendly. Before you say... "Well, this game is easy! I beat it in like 5 minutes!" It didn't work out that way for me. It took me way longer to finish this game. Don't say... "Well, you were on here posting all day!" or something of that nature. Mind you, I was gaming and posting for most of the time. Seriously, it took me a while to finish... so I appreciate it if you don't try to make me feel bad for not finishing it sooner or give me a hard time about the game all together.
This game has the most button to game delay that I have ever seen. Seriously... I would press the freaking A button, and it wouldn't transmit it to the game and then I fell to my death millions of times. I thought it was me, but I know other people who had the same issue. The game will sometimes cut your health meter at the blink of an eye. You could have been in the stage for less than a minute and it's gone! I know people are supposed to be shooting at you and crap, but come on.... right when I enter? Seriously. The training... oh goodness the training isn't even really necessary, you are just shooting targets... and to be quite honest... there's no need! You already know how to shoot from the bloody pistols... why do you need training for the other weapons? There was a video walkthrough that I went to when I was stuck, and even that person was getting angry at the game. ![]()
You have to pay attention at all times! Including the cut scenes. No playing with your cat intermission or flirting with the girl next door right quick... because you will die.
I guess I could have put that in the review, but oh well. The game was the most frustrating game that I played this year. If you want to get it, wait for a price drop... don't think it's worth the 50/60 bucks. Maybe I am just stupid, but it took me forever to finish a game that only has 12 short chapters. And.... watch someone gloat and boost their ego with their experience in the game... I am going to frown at you now before you even type or submit your comment. ![]()
Question: What did you think of the game Wet?
However... I am going back to my other games. It will either be between:
Tales of Vesperia
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
LocoRoco
Devil Survivor
Whichever I decide is the one I am going to write a review for next. Hopefully it won't make me throw the controller.
See you all in the forums!

I slept one time during Onechanbara and threw away an xbox 360 controller twice while playing shellshock.
Don't be so mad for take a long time to finish a game, some of us are perfectionists and take a little more time to finish a game,do you know Star Wars:The Force Unleashed? It takes about 5 hours to beat the whole game but I did it in 12 cause I enjoy the game and want to have fun torturing poor little soldiers...uh...I mean, fighting unique battles.
And Devil Survivor can be pretty frustrating sometimes, especially the seemingly endless grinding in order to face the bosses. Maybe it's just me, but that game is HARD.
