This is my analysis on who is the NFL Team of the Decade. (All stats were researched by me and took forever to organize
)

New England Patriots:
- 2001: 11-5, AFC East Champs, #2 Seed, Beat the Raiders, then the Steelers in the AFC Championship game en route to SB win over Rams
- 2002: 9-7, missed playoffs
- 2003: 14-2, AFC East Champs, #1 Seed, Beat the Titans, then the Colts in the AFC Championship game en route to SB win over Panthers
- 2004: 14-2, AFC East Champs, #2 Seed, Beat the Colts, then the Steelers in the AFC Championship game en route to SB win over Eagles
- 2005: 10-6, AFC East Champs, #3 Seed, Beat Jaguars in Wild Card Round, lost to Broncos in Divisional Round
- 2006: 12-4, AFC East Champs, #4 Seed. Beat Jets in Wild Card Round, Beat Chargers in Divisional round, lost to Colts in AFC Championship game
- 2007: 16-0, AFC East Champs, #1 Seed, Beat Jaguars, then beat Chargers, lost to Giants in Super Bowl (
) - 2008: 11-5, missed playoffs

Pittsburgh Steelers:
- 2001: 13-3, AFC Central Champs, #1 Seed, Beat Ravens, lost to Patriots in AFC Championship game.
- 2002: 10-5-1, AFC North Champs, #3 Seed, Beat Browns in Wild Card Round, lost to Titans in Divisional Round
- 2003: 6-10, missed playoffs
- 2004: 15-1, AFC North Champs, #1 Seed, Beat the Jets, lost to Patriots in AFC Championship game
- 2005: 11-5, Wild Card, #6 Seed, Beat the Bengals in Wild Card Round, Beat the Colts in Divisional round, Beat the Broncos in AFC championship, a SB win over Seahawks
- 2006: 8-8, missed playoffs
- 2007: 10-6, AFC North Champs, #4 Seed, Lost to Jaguars in Wild Card round.
- 2008: 12-4, AFC North Champs, #2 Seed, Beat Chargers, then Ravens in AFC Championship game en route to SB win over Cardinals.
That leaves it like this,
Patriots have 6 division championships, they have reached the AFC Championship game 5 times, reached the Super Bowl 4 times, won it 3 times. Patriots have only missed the playoffs twice. Best record was the perfect 16-0 in 2007. Patriots are a combined 97-31 in the regular season this decade. Patriots are 14-3 in the playoffs.
Steelers have 5 division championships, they've reached the AFC Championship game 4 times, reached the Super Bowl twice, winning both times. Steelers have missed the playoffs twice as well. Best record was the 15-1 in 2004. Steelers are a combined 85-42-1 in the regular season this decade. Steelers are 10-4 in the playoffs.
It is very close but as it stands right now, Patriots are the team of the decade. Steelers are close, but the Patriots have won more games in the regular season, and had more success in the playoffs.
This season could very well determine who will be the team of the decade.

I just recently finished playing Final Fantasy VII once again. The reason on doing so is to test and put into practice the claims that Final Fantasy VII was over-rated and not that great of a game. Let me proclaim that despite it being released in the mid 90's the game fall nothing of short of amazing. When you play a game you look for a great story, challenging battles/levels, and characters you admire. Final Fantasy VII has all of those.
After playing it once again it bothers me to hear people claim that this game is over-hyped and it really isn't that great and whatnot. To be honest I think those critics are ones that have never layed a hand in Final Fantasy VII at all.

Cloud is the perfect hero, he isn't an overpowering brute nor a sissy, he is balanced and personifies a character struggling to overcome mental hurdles as well as hurdles to prevent the world from destruction. Moreover, the characters that join him on his quest all have their own individual traits that make them special, ranging from the young energetic Yuffie to the southern accent influenced dirty mouth Cid, to the quiet mysterious yet cool Vincent. The funny and interesting Cait Sith, unique and brave Red XIII, Tifa, Aerith, and obviously the lovable brute Barret, the cast is far beyond impressive.
To sum up this brief blog, i just wanted to say that those critics that claim this game is "garbage" are probably not true gamers and just those looking to spark an arguement to push others buttons because Final Fantasy VII is your perfect ideal video game.
Good day. Thank you.
EDIT: Perhaps i should re-word when i said "i just wanted to say that those critics that claim this game is "garbage" are probably not true gamers and just those looking to spark an arguement to push others buttons"
What i truly meant was those that claim to love the RPG genre and especially the type of turn base battle system like those in FFVII and say that the game is garbage and publicly say so are doing so to spark an arguement.
Everytime....everytime, I said EVERYTIME!
A team talks trash about the Patriots, the Pats stay quiet, resilent. Then they show who is big daddy on the field.
Casualties:
- Philadelphia Eagles WR: Freddie Mitchell (2004)
"The Philadelphia Eagles' other loquacious receiver — the one without the Pro Bowl pedigree and ankle injury — offended some Patriots when he dissed their secondary in a television interview. In a segment taped yesterday on ESPN, Mitchell admitted he couldn't name any of the Patriots defensive backs, saying he only knew their numbers. Except for No. 37 that is.
"I got something for you Harrison when I meet you too," he said."
Result:
One reception for 11 yards. Harrison had more receptions picking off McNabb twice! Patriots win the Super Bowl 24-21
- Pittsburgh Steelers Safety: Anthony Smith (2007)
Safety Anthony Smith not only thinks the Steelers have a chance Sunday to beat the undefeated New England Patriots, he guarantees it.
"We're going to win," Smith said after practice . "Yeah, I can guarantee a win." Against the then Undefeated Patriots.
Result:
Smith gives up big plays, one noticeably to WR Jabar Gaffney where Smith was beat, and humiliated. Patriots win that game 34-13.
- San Diego Chargers RB: LaDainian Tomlinson (2007)
LaDainian Tomlinson was upset Sunday evening, and it wasn't just because his Chargers had just lost to the Patriots. The league's MVP was also irritated by the way some of New England's players handled their victory. Seems they weren't exactly gracious winners."I would never react in that way. I was very upset," Tomlinson said.
"When you go to the middle of our field and start doing the dance Shawne Merriman is known for, that is disrespectful. They showed no cla-ss and maybe that comes from the head coach."
Result:
Next time they played on Sept. 16 he rushed 18 times for only 43 yards with four receptions for only 15 yards to go with that no TD's. Patriots won that game 38-14.
- Buffalo Bills WR: Terrell Owens (2009)
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens provided the first trash talk with the Patriots leading up to Monday night's season-opener at Gillette Stadium. Owens was asked if he had anything up his sleeve for the Patriots. "Nah, nothing up my sleeve," said Owens. "I might bring my spy camera out, though." Prior to the Monday Night Football matchup.
Result:
Two receptions for 46 yards. Patriots beat the Bills in a thriller 25-24.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope the Jets realize what they are getting themselves into. Not guarantee-ing (bad spelling lol) anything, but there is a history for those who talk trash and failed, miserably.
It is just not smart to wake a sleeping dog and the Jets just kicked it.
