Well, I noticed a few days ago that it has been almost 2 months since I wrote my last blog, so I figured that it's time for a new one.

In my last blog I told you that I started sending applications to various universities. Well, they all accepted me, except for one. So yay! That means I was able to decide where I'll probably spend the next few years. The deadline was last week and I picked Potsdam. You probably won't know it, but you might be able to find it on a map of Germany. So that was the good part, the not so good part is that I haven't found an apartment in Potsdam yet. It's much more difficult than I thought and it seems like everyone else started searching for a place to live earlier than me. It doesn't look too good right now, but I'm not giving up yet. Anyway, it's not like I would be homeless if I won't find anything in time. My sister got me a room in her dorm in Berlin, where I could stay until I find something better. Berlin's pretty close to Potsdam, but it'll still take me almost an hour to get to my uni. I don't really like the idea of going by train for so long everyday, but I guess I shouldn't complain and rather be happy that I already have something, right?

Here are some pictures of Potsdam:

I think on the next one you can see a part of the university.

Well, since the new TV season is almost here, I thought I'd share my TV schedule with you.

Monday

-Gossip Girl
-Prison Break
-Heroes

PB and GG will air tomorrow! I can't wait! I'm sure the new episodes will be awesome!

Tuesday

-Eli Stone
-Fringe

Fringe is one of the few new shows that I'm excited about. It looks quite interesting, plus it's made by J.J. Abrams.

Wednesday

-Pushing Daisies

Thursday

-Grey's Anatomy
-Supernatural

Sunday

-maybe Californication, but I'm not sure yet.

For me that are quite a lot shows. So I don't know if I'll be able to watch them all, especially when uni starts. Maybe I'll let out a few and try to catch up later.

A few days ago I went to the movies to see 'The Dark Knight'.

The movie was awesome. I really liked it though I've never really been a huge fan of all the Batman stuff. Oh and William Fichtner who plays Mahone in Prison Break had a little role as well.

Ok, that's it from me.
I hope that everyone has a great week!

Haha, I was excited that Mahone was in it! Even though his role was like.. 2 minutes long in the beginning. Happy week!

Hey Tiffany!

Congrats on being first!
Yes, me too, it was about time for a new blog. I'm glad that you like reading them.

Thanks so much girlie. I think I applied to 5 universities. 2 of them were in Berlin and the other ones were in smaller towns.
Thanks, I hope so too!

Oh I love OTH! But I'm still catching up. I just finished season 4 yesterday. So that's why I can't watch season 6 when it returns tonight.

Thanks, you too!

*huge hugs*

Hey Ivy!!

Yeah, I think so too, I just always forget about it.

Thanks...I guess. Most of the universities had pretty high tuition fees. So I decided to pick one of those without these fees. That made the decision easier. And I like that Potsdam is near Berlin, but still not such a huge city, if that makes sense.

Thanks I hope so too!
Yay for watching PB, GG, Grey's and Fringe. I'm so looking forward to the new episodes.

Yeah, I know!

Have a great week!

Hey Nats!

Thanks, I'm glad that I decided as well. I hope that it will be as nice as it looks like on the pics.

I try not to worry about it too much and I'll keep on searching. Thanks buddy, that means a lot!

Thanks! I'm still catching up on OTH. Yesterday I've finished season 4 which has been AWESOME! I hope that I can watch season 5 soon.

Miss you too buddy!

I hope that we'll have a chance to chat again soon.

Hej Chrissy!

So happy to see you blogging again! It's awesome you got accepted to all the universities! Well except for one then, but who cares about that? I knew they would accept you though, how could they not? I've been to Potsdam during my holiday in Germany, and it was a nice city I thought. I do hope you'll find an apartment soon, but luckily you have something to fall back on! Just keep in mind: something is better then nothing!

The university looks SO beautiful! We have some nice universities here as well, but none of them look like this. I can understand why you picked it! Haha no it's not about the looks of course, I know. Why did you pick Postdam by the way?

Great TV schedule you have there! I'll be pretty much watching the same things, except for Pushing daisies and Eli Stone. I still want to try out Pushing Daisies someday, it's on my neverending list! There are a few shows I'll be watching as well that aren't on your schedule: OTH, Heroes and Desperate Housewives.

Glad you enjoyed the Dark Knight! It seems like everyone does though! Still have to watch it, but I'm getting more and more curious about it!

I hope we can chat again soon! Miss you buddy!

Oke WOW, that was a long post! I'm still catching up with OTH as well though, I won't be watching the new season yet.

Good luck on finding an apartment close to uni. It is nice that your sister is close enough to have that as a back up plan.

I finally saw the Dark Knight and I loved it. It lived up to all the hype, especially Heath's role. He was so psycho without being really over the top. An amazing job.

Can't wait for all my shows to start. Saw PB on Monday and loved every minute of it. Looks like this season is going to be great!

Hey!!!! i missed ya! well, i missed everybody! lol #hugs# great post...

Nats!

That's good to hear. Though every season of OTH has been brilliant so far in my opinion.

Hey Fieke!

Yeah, I was really glad that I had a few to choose from as well . And the one that didn't accept me wasn't my first choice anyway. Thanks buddy! I haven't seen so much of Potsdam myself yet, but it definitely looks nice on the pictures. I hope that I'll find an apartment soon as well.
I know! We had the same thought there.

I'm not so sure anymore that it's the university on the picture I'll go to. The uni has three buildings in different places in Potsdam, so maybe it's just another part of it. We were there last week and it looked different but still nice.
I picked it because it's near Berlin, but still not such a huge city. I thought that everything's a bit chaotic in Berlin , but it looks like I'm going to live there in the beginning anyway.

Thanks! It's cool that we're pretty much watching the same things. You should watch Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. They're both awesome shows.
I still have to catch up on OTH and DH, but Heroes is on my schedule.

The Dark Knight is really awesome. And everyone I know who saw it thought so too.

I hope that we can catch up soon buddy! We haven't talked in ages. I really miss you.

*huge hugs*

Haha, I love long posts.

Same here, how many seasons have you watched so far?
Posted Sep 7, 2008 6:41 am PT
Hey mscraftee!

Thanks. I know that it's an advantage that my sister is living pretty close. Actually we signed the leasing contract last week, so that I'll live there for at least 2 months.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Dark Knight as well. Heath played his role indeed amazing. He was such a great actor and person.

I loved the 2 new episodes of PB too. I really like the new direction they're headed if that makes sense.

Hey Eva!

Long time no see. You were gone for ages. I'm glad that you're back now. I missed you too.

Thanks!
