Hey everyone! ![]()
I'm sorry I haven't commented on your blogs in ages.
I think in the last months I've been the least active on this site since I joined about 2 years ago. I even stopped coming on this site at all for a while.
I still remember the time, when I used to spend hours on this site every day, reading everyone's blogs, commenting, sending PM's and stuff like that and I really miss this time and you people. Partly I'm so inactive on here, because uni keeps me pretty busy. My next exams will be next month, but apart from that I'm quite happy with my studies.
Once I'm on holiday, I'll surely have more time to be on here, too. ![]()
So about a week ago, I finally got around to watching the final episodes of Prison Break and I'm still shocked by how it ended. Oh, I forgot to say, if you haven't seen the last episodes and don't want to know how PB ends, please don't read the next paragraphs.

Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed by the writers for killing Michael in the end.
I think there was just no need and he would have really deserved a happy ending with Sara. In my opinion, this would have been the far better ending.

I'll probably never understand why they did this. Oh, I read that one of writers said, that for him it is a happy ending, also because they had this moment on the beach.
I just don't think that's enough. ![]()

I think I wouldn't be so sad, if it was 'just' a movie, in which the main character was killed off in the end, because I've watched this show for 4 years. ![]()

It doesn't change the fact that PB is one of my favorite shows of all time though.

I have to admit that except for Michael's death, the last episodes were amazing. I really liked the endings for the other characters and it was great that they brought some of the older characters back. ![]()
I already miss PB, hopefully I can rewatch it sometime without thinking about the ending all the time. ![]()

Ok, I think I ranted enough for now. ![]()
Hope you're well and have a great week! ![]()
Hey everyone! ![]()
How are you? I'm good. ![]()
I finished my last exam about 3 weeks ago and I've been on holiday since then.
I haven't done a lot so far but it's been great nevertheless.
I don't know my results yet, but maybe it's better that way. Just kidding…
I'm not sure, I think it didn't went great but not that bad either…I'm not really good at estimating my grades before I actually know them.
It mostly turns out differently anyway. Maybe I'll know them by the end of the week.
Oh, by the way, my family and I will take a vacation to Spain in about a week.
It's sunny and more than 20 °C there so it should be nice.
Unlike here, it just started snowing. ![]()

Since I have a lot of free-time at the moment I started watching a few new shows.
Here's a little summary and what I think about each show…
Life

Not really a new show, but it only started airing here a few weeks ago. It's a crime show about a cop named Charlie Crews, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment though he was innocent. After 12 years in prison he's released, he joins the police again and tries to find the people who were responsible for his imprisonment.
I don't watch a lot of crime shows, but I still like it a lot.
Charlie can be pretty funny and Damian Lewis is really great in his role.
Besides the chemistry between Charlie and his partner Dani is fantastic. ![]()
Castle

Richard Castle is a successful murder-mystery writer and a bit bored by his success. But then someone commits several murders based on the descriptions in his books. The police consults him to help solving the case together with the police officer Kate Beckett, who is less than thrilled about his involvement. Eventually they find the killer and Castle is so glad about the change and the excitement that he convinces the mayor that he needs to continue working with Beckett as research for his new book.
It's kind of a crime show too, but to make up for that there's Nathan Fillion in it.
He's awesome and he plays his character very well. Besides the cases were pretty interesting so far and it's not so serious because of Castle's hilarious comments. ![]()
Kings

Kings is about David Shepherd, a typical small town guy who becomes involved with high society and politics and rises to the top against all odds. When several prisoners of war are taken, David defies orders and crosses enemy lines to save them. Unknown to David, the soldier he saves is Jack Benjamin, the son of king Silas and that changes his whole life.
I've only seen the first 2 episodes, but they were very good. Especially the actors were great.
I'm not really religious, but I like the biblical references nevertheless.
Dollhouse

Dollhouse is the new series by Joss Whedon. It's about a young woman, Echo, who belongs to a secret underground organization, which is able to imprint people with new personalities. Well, it's a bit more complicated than that, but I'm sure you've already heard of it. ![]()
This is probably my favorite new show.
I thought the first 5 episodes were really good, they had a lot of potential but they could have been even better. Episode 6 was just amazing! It really felt like something Joss Whedon had done and not something that the network wanted him to do. Can't wait to see the next episode, I hope it will be as great as the last one.
I kind of like the idea behind it, which is about finding one's true identity. ![]()
Do you watch any of these shows?
Hope you have a great week! ![]()
How are you?
Just a little blog to let you know that I haven't abandoned this site.
I'm just pretty stressed out because of my exams at the moment.
I have to take 4 and there's so much you have to know for each exam. It's pretty difficult in my opinion, but I still hope for the best. At least I hope not to fail completely.
I think I should continue studying for the next one now, though I'm already suffering from sleep, tv shows, movies and Internet withdrawals. ![]()
Hope you're enjoying your week more than me! ![]()
