GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

I was bored today at work, and I decided to see if any matches came up on Yahoo search or google for 'Minda Cubed'. It kind of suprises you what comes up. The first page linked directly to my profile, which I'm not sure is that re-assuring. The second however, led to a 'rottentomatoes.com forum', where some guy posted a thread I made a while back. He gave me credit, but with with a wierd comment to boot (I don't recognize this name),

"This was TOTALLY ripped off from "Minda Cubed" over on gamespot forums (which in itself is REALLY ironic) but it is such a great thread I thought it would be nice to see what kinda reactions it gets over here."

What the hell does that italics part mean? Did this guy have a beef with me....and WHAT THE HELL DID THAT MEAN!!!one!!1!! Kind of makes me mad it happened so long ago, since I can't ask (imagine going to a board and saying 'hey man, remember about a year ago you said this about me...). The thread itself was about whether or not you would download games if burning them became as popular as Limewire or Napster.

The next in line is my name in Dark Catalysts friends list, awww

Other than that, it has some really old threads that make you wonder what the hell you were thinking, heh.

Try your own names out (if they're original enough) and see what comes up.

I found some old posts, my profile showed up about 6 or 7 times, anime forums that have images that may not be appropriate, stats for players with similar names, and one disturbing image of a smoking man...

Mostly profile stuff. Nothing particularly interesting.

A lot of it was unrelated to me, i only found about 3 that were related to me. 2 were pretty much the same, which was my arcade scores from the IGO arcade. And the other was my profile from here.

Same as Oilers, just profile stuff and posting. My journal showed up though surprisingly.

Even more odd is the concept that who ever it is that was talking about you thinks users on that forum care about what he thinks of another user, on another forum . . .. weird

Hehe - interesting idea, Minda. I use ArchieGates for several forums on the internet, so it was funny to see some old posts I had made on various forums. It's kinda scary how long stuff stays on the internet.

I actually have a lot more pages with my real name though, since I'm in a lot of movie credits. There are a lot of movie sites out there that use info from IMDB, so I'm kinda everywhere.

The scary thing with me is that searching for MAILER_DAEMON used to send you to all of these crazy sites where people either explain what it is, or tell about people who used to e-mail back the MAILER_DAEMON as if it were a person. Now when you search for it, what's no 3? Oh, me...

Which is why I've set my profile to Friends Only.

Yeah MAILER, I didn't know what your name meant, but when my questions to Ebay sellers wouldn't go through, I'd get a reply from 'Mailer_Daemon'. At first I was like wtf? I figured maybe you ran that ebay store. But then I got it again, so I figured it's the email version of 'Twister Error'.
