The title alone gives you an idea of what to expect, but then this movie is a lot funnier than I expected. Definitely underrated and destined to be a stoner/buddy movie cult classic.

Does this movie deserve a best picture nom? While it's nice to see the Academy recognize a movie that isn't obsessed with it's own self-importance, Little Miss Sunshine is not one of the best movies of the year. It's not even the best comedy--that would be Borat. It is still a very funny and enjoyable film with many fine performances. However, the overabundance of quirkiness in the story and characters seems forced and is a little hard to swallow.
