Read the comic preview of Sonic the Hedgehog #203 at http://archie-blogs.archiecomics.com/sonic/2009/08/archie-comics-first-look-sonic-6.html

This is my blog for Sonic The Hedgehog #203. Feel free to post your comments specially if you follow Archie's Sonic comic book series. You can tell what you think about this issue and/or the series overall. I decided to stop writing the summaries and just write my thoughts about the comic because they take too long to write and more then likely if you follow the comic you know what happen. Please note that there may be spoilers.

Here is another late issue review. This is a great issue with great art and story. I like how Ian Flynn is focusing on Monkey Khan and give him some character depth and devolvement. Monkey Khan explains the reason why he was angry at Sonic and the others that The 4 Houses was warring over his homeland and then Robotnik came and sponsor the Iron Dominion and took over everything. Also in regards to Monkey Khan character devolvement with him not by informing anyone of Iron Queen being a Techonmage and putting the life of any mobians that are cybernetic and more specifically Bunnie. I also like the orphans throwing rocks at Monkey Khan and Sonic came told them to stop and can't attack him like that and the orphans said "But you did." "You spin-dashed at him lots!" pretty much had Sonic. The Art by Steven Butler is Great. He takes some of his cues from Tracy Yardley! with showing expressions. One of My favorite panels is Sonic standing with the Orphans looking kind of stumped. The backup story with Knuckles and Espio was great. It goes over from Knuckles' point of view Espio's betrayal. The art was great by Jamal Peppers. Peppers pencils and Matt Herms colors really created a crisp almost official sega art look in the backup. His strong sequential art and layout really made the story flow. He is the best new artist since Yardley!. I definitively want to see him continue in the comic. My favorite panel from this story is last one with Espio holding Knuckles' dreads with one hand and a Kunai in his other hand ready to stab him and Knuckles fixing to fall over a cliff. This issue was great.

Read the comic preview of Sonic the Hedgehog #202 at http://archie-blogs.archiecomics.com/sonic/2009/07/archie-comics-first-look-sonic-5.html

I am very late this issue review but here finally we go. The issue was very good. Good writing by Ian Flynn. I like how Sonic and Monkey Khan was explaining both groups (Dark Egg Legion and the Vagyu ninjas clan) to each other while they were fighting them. One of my favorite dialogues is from Sonic saying, "They're the Dark Egg Legion. A bunch of Knuckles' people who have a Mad-on for technology." It's my favorite dialogue because of the slight applied inappropriateness of it that will go over younger readers. The second story was good and I like how Iron Queen's reason of taking over this is explained and her ability of controlling robotic devices was revealed. This story gave some dept to her character. I also like how Sonic was saying that Espio was with the Chaotix and Espio punch him in the face. Good art by the returning veteran Sonic artist Steven Butler for the main story and a new artist Jamal Peppers. Peppers handle the art pretty well and his techniqueworks with the great colors by Matt Herms. This was a very good issue.

This is my blog for Sonic Universe #7. Feel free to post your comments especially if you follow Archie's Sonic Universe comic book series. You can tell what you think about this issue and/or the series overall. This is another great issue and (me being like an broken record) continues the great chacraters inactions seen in this series. My favorite interaction of this issue is when Sonic is rallying the freedom fighters up and said, "Let's do it to!" and Lara-Su going "I told you he says it!" and Argyll said, "I know! I'm geeking out!". Another favorite is when Jacque and Belle are introduced and on the 3rd panel on the page Belle is flirting with Argyll and Lara-Su appears not too happy with it. The writing by Ian Flynn is great with King Shadow being heartless and destroys Lein-Da's armband that protects her from the shift of the timeline and unleashing Tikhaos to Sonia and Manik not really grasping the full situation. Tracy Yardley! art is great and continues with his great expressions and body language. My favorite panel is when King Shadow is giving (forcibly) chaos energy to Tikhaos and all we see is his hand extended and his face that has a cold look and the panel has a green overlay due to the chaos energy. It's my favorite because it shows how far gone Shadow is. It's a great issue and I'm looking forward to the finale of this arc.

Mik9 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Mik9 possibly have for not rating a single film?
