Loving a Vampire

When I was young there was a show called cliffhanger. It had three shows all in one and every week would leave you hanging on. We cant wait till more Moonlight try watching only 20 min an episode. It was more a a traditional Vampire show but it was still a love story and a 10 yrs old I was still in love. I watched every week wanting him to bite the woman he loved. I would sleep at night with my neck exposed (remember I'm 10) I wanted so badly to be part of his world. Then the time came for him to turn her and he is betrayed and staked in the heart.

My first love was killed off. I was so upset he never got to be with the one he loved, yes she was doomed to life of death but they loved each other. It has been many years, many, but I have never forgotten it. I was so crushed and over the years I had watched a few more Vampire movies all with the same outcome. That was it no more broken heart for me and I stopped watching vampire movies. I have not watched Buffy or Dark Night or any of the other Vampire movies you guys talk about but then came moonlight.

The promo wasnt that great and I wasnt planning on watching but then it happened my life was changed, hope of eternal love creeped in to my life as I watched Fever. By accident I watched Dr. Feelgood and they staked him, but he dosnt die. Any vampire movie where they can be staked and not die was worth watching. I set my DVR to record and have never looked back. I am so in love with MickBeth. The love story is so amazing that I once again want to be part of their lives.

The strange twist of fate is I now have a 10 yr old Daughter and she is in love with a Vampire show but I know no matter what happens with Mick and Beth, Mick will NEVER be killed off. My Daughter will have her heart broken many times in her life but not by Moonlight.

I have in enjoyed sharing my love for a Vampier with my Daughter. Eternal love is worth Living For.
