I honestly dont know what to believe. Every day is something new on the media. They keep going back and forth. I just want them to make a final decision on it and so everyone can stop argueing. What would be really cool is if they made a special metal gear just for 360 so both consoles can have an exclusive addition.

If MGS4 goes to the 360, then it's over for the PS3 too many of it's exclusives are jumping ship, why would you fork out loads of money for the PS3 when you can get a 360 dirt cheap and get all the games the PS3 has and more?

i totally agree. however a ps3 was meant to be a home computer system as well. not just a game console. However in terms of a game console. 360 wins absolutely.

I already own it for the PS3 but I would sell that version to pick up the 360 version. Even though I already own it, I'm pretty excited for this. I always knew this day would come.

I dont think this version will go to 360. They may make an exclusive version specifically for 360 though.

That my bet as well. It cant just be a straight up port. MGS 2 Substance had lots of extra features, so MGS4 will likely be the same.

I agree with you EXxile. Ive been trying to tell people for months that MGS4 was going to be ported to 360, and I was repeatedly insulted because of it. All those Sony fans kept saying "the producer wont let MGS4 go to 360. He said so!" Well, to all that yelled at me because of that, shove it (and no i am not insulting all PS3 fans).

Firstly this is coming from a PR agent for one but at the end of the day it is from the distributor NOT the developer...Kojima the maker who holds all rights to the game has and still says this will never happen, But why don't you put the link down so we all can see it.

But I saw another article recently as well that dismissed that belief. Ill post that one as well once I find it.

MGS4 on the 360, its not totally unbeleivable and I wouldn't doubt MS to do it, but seems kind of late if they think it would dent Sony's sales.

I agree klugenbeel. At least it will give 360 owners a chance to try it out, and since the 360 has a larger fanbase, it could get more sales than its PS3 counterpart.

You are aware their have been countless reviews were he specifically says "NEVER", One reason is he does not want his creation compressed, Two he believes this will ruin his game, And Three he personally believes it won't run right.

Thanks for posting a link to a article about Hideo and not what I asked for, If it was real you would of found it easily, One you claim its from IGN, And two this is only a two days old while your reply is only one compared to when it was posted....In the future don't say something that you found on a fansite(Obvious you did) because they are a fansite, They lie and act as this is real..BTW if this rumor was real it would of been confirmed right now, Just like Bioshock for the Ps3 was, And Lost Planet.

Oh and yes Bioshock and Lost planet were all confirmed the day after the rumor came out, And the rumor started from a DEVELOPER not a DISTRIBUTOR.

First, the link is not to Hideo. I dont even know what Hideo is. Second,the article is from ign.com (did you no see that the web address is xbox360.ign.com?). Third, I found it quite easily, which is why the link I posted takes you to that web page. Fourth, IGN is not a fansite. They review everything equally and fairly. Thats about as lame as saying that gamespot and gamespy are fansites. Fifth, not all games are confirmed the day after a rumor releases that the game will be multiplatform. The Orange Box is a great example of this, especially since Vavle's lead designer said that the PS3 is a disgrace of a system and he didnt know how sony could do so many things wrong with it. Actually, Lost Planet wasnt even confirmed the way you said it was either.

So in conclusion, get your facts straight before you make ignorant comments about things you're incapable of understanding. Just to let you know, any new comments you post will be deleted so we dont have to tolerate your idiocy.

Actually theres a rebuddle to this comment, a bout a week ofter that article on IGN, Konami released a statement saying that what they meant was that all games from now on will be going to be multiplatform and not that MGS4 was going to the 360

Exactly! Its been on gamcube, xbox, and the sony systems. And there are still people convinced that this'll be exclusive to PS3, which is total crap.

yeah, well you better either plunk down your money or just wait and hope that a dumbed down version will be released for 360. Hideo Kojima himself said that the 360 couldn't run mgs4, and if there is a version, it will be a lot worse so either way, PS3 is the way to go.

I realize that they're only looking into it, and Kojima recently said that the sequel to Metal Gear Acid was going to be on 360, not MGS4. But really da post office, it's quite obvious that 360 could run MGS4 without a hitch. It doesnt look any better than Gears 2, which totally blows MGS4 away in terms of graphics and gameplay, but even if that were true, the only problem would be that it might need more than 1 disc, which means Id have to get off my couch to play it. Oh no!!! (note sarcasm).
