Jenna Fischer is the beautiful and talented young actress who is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the hit NBC series "The Office". She has also appeared in episodes of Six Feet Under, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and That 70's Show. She has written, directed, and starred in her own movie, Lollilove. She has appeared on the big screen in Blades of Glory and Employee of the Month, and is set to star in the upcoming movie Walk Hard alongside John C. Reilly. In her many roles, Jenna has proven herself to be a wonderful actress. She can convey a wide array of emotions, and truly connects with all of the characters she plays, making them even more believable. My favorite role of hers is that of Pam Beesly on The Office. She is fantastic at conveying emotions without even saying one word. Her performance in such episode as Casino Night (my personal favorite!), Beach Games, and The Job further this opinion. This year, Jenna has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Emmy award; I believe that she truly deserves this award, and I hope that she wins. Not only is Jenna both extremely talented and beautiful, but she is also quite down-to-earth, which is quite hard to come by in Hollywood today. She regularly updates her blog on her Myspace, and comments back some of her fans. You would be hard-pressed to find another actress as truly dedicated to her fans as Jenna is; for this reason, she is also a good role model for millions of young women. Jenna truly deserves all the success that she has received, and I hope for her to continue to be successful in the future. 10/10.

Steve Carell, of television’s The Office and the new movie Evan Almighty, is a truly gifted actor. He has helped to make The Office not only a hit comedic show and Emmy nominee, but also my personal favorite show. He truly captures the imperfections of his character Michael Scott, and keeps viewers tuning in week after week. He never fails to make me laugh. Steve also had a brilliant supporting role in the 2004 movie Anchorman as the clueless and dimwitted Brick Tamland. For most hilarious actors, however, they are only good at making people laugh; Steve, however, has shown that he is truly multifaceted with his captivating performance in the Sundance indie and critic’s darling Little Miss Sunshine. In it, he plays a suicidal and homosexual uncle of Olive, a little girl who dreams of competing in and winning the Little Miss Sunshine pageant in Redondo Beach, California. His compelling performance elicited not only laughs, but deep thought from the audience; this performance proved that Carell can also do dramatic acting just as well as he does comedic. His performances stay in your mind long after you leave the theater or watch him on TV; he has proven to be not only a great television actor, but also one that can handle big movies, such as Evan Almighty, Little Miss Sunshine. The Forty-Year Old Virgin, or Anchorman; he is also not just an actor of comedy, but one of drama as well. I look forward to seeing Steve on the big screen in Get Smart, his latest movie, and in The Office, premiering September 27th on NBC. This man’s acting will surely stand the test of time.
