I just have to mention it now, why are so many writing off the PS3 and anyone who tries to defend it becomes a 'fanboy'. It's getting ridiculous. Around every corner of the internet all I see is "Sony Sucks", "PS3 will suck", etc. I'm planning on getting a PS3 at launch (yes thats a crapload of money) but I don't consider myself a 'fanboy'. I think X360 is a good system and i'm really looking forward to how Nintendo's controller will be used in the longrun. I would buy all 3 if I had the money, but I made a choice a while back that PS3 would be my first. I know this may be a round-a-bout way of saying it but i'm getting really annoyed by the hating. I guess this doesn't just apply to Sony, but any system... Anyone else agree?

yeah i agree, i mean people have a right to their own opinion, but they should atleast wait until the system comes out and try it before they criticize it. i want as ps3 but thats a lot more money than i can afford and im perfectly happy with my 360. but yeah i agree with you

I definitely agree. There's a lot of different things to look at between systems, and all of them offer something a bit different than each other. This generation is going to be a lot different than the last because I think there will be a lot less direct ports between systems. All of the systems are gonna offer something a bit different. PS3 won't suck. It will just offer us something different from the rest. Now I've gotta find that extra $600 just lying around. Hopefully I'll find it.

I am glad there are people who can agree with me. Just because i'm getting a certain console at launch, it shouldn't mean I am a "fanboy" to only that company! And you don't see me badmouthing other systems either......

Let's all just wish that the PS3 doesn't like start being all glitchy at launch.
