It feels really foreign here, and it would seem the same since I don't see the usual members lurking around. Whether it be because of their busy lives or what, I don't know, but it does add to the unfamiliarity.

Anyways...

I thought that Avatar: the Last Airibender ruined anime for me since they opened to my eyes on so many things wrong and annoying with anime--such as the length, the filler arcs, the prolonging of plots to fill an episode and what not; etc. But I've gotten into Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and I must say so far, it's pretty good. It's not long, I think about fifty episodes; they don't have filler arcs (although they do have filler eps. like the flashback eps. that thankfully was skipped over in the dubbed version), and so on.

But I must say...

The main character, Lelouch...well I feel like I'm the only one who finds him a b@a$t@ard. An anti-hero, doesn't seem to quite fill his role, although that is what he is. He's not like Light, from Death Note, but still...

I mean, I'm not saying he's gotta be like Luke Skywalker...but look at Zuko. He didn't have heroic qualities, the way Aang did; but he certainly wasn't a Super!jerk like Lelouch.

Okay...the main point of this entry is that I find it REALLY annoying that the main character believes the end justify the "meanness." He wants to create a better world for his little sister, but in doing so, he hurts his half-siblings and childhood best friend.

Gah. Anyways, if you have time, I recommend Code Geass.

I lost the internet for like two months, and I come back here....to the Twilight Zone. What happened? I'm lost. Everything is DIFFERENT and weird. I don't know my way around this place. XD

Do you guys like the new style?

Before she went to jail, where do you think she stayed at? I mean it was said in Season 2 that she ran away and joined the circus. Being a daughter of a nobleman, I doubt they approved--so did she stay with Azula in the palace or did she stay with her family?

She was barely shown in season 3, but I think that's b'cuz she wasn't really needed until 305 and 316 (really sad she's only in 3(?) episodes not counting the finale). I'm just wondering if after running away would Ty Lee be accepted back into her family to the point that she could visit them, etc. Or was it the, "Once you leave, you can never return" scenario? There's also the question of Ty Lee even wanting to return to her family ever.

I would like to know your thoughts.

Also I've been thinking of writing something about them, and it would really help if I had a hint of her current rel. with her family.

Oh btw, to anyone who commented on my last entry--I'm so sorry for the REALLY late reply--but if you're still interested, I replied.

Delisle just blew me away when I realized how much voice acting she did--especially in one show. I could never tell that she had been playing several of the characters in one show because of how talented she is with changing the sound of her...

Maylene must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Maylene possibly have for not rating a single film?
