It feels really foreign here, and it would seem the same since I don't see the usual members lurking around. Whether it be because of their busy lives or what, I don't know, but it does add to the unfamiliarity.
Anyways...
I thought that Avatar: the Last Airibender ruined anime for me since they opened to my eyes on so many things wrong and annoying with anime--such as the length, the filler arcs, the prolonging of plots to fill an episode and what not; etc. But I've gotten into Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and I must say so far, it's pretty good. It's not long, I think about fifty episodes; they don't have filler arcs (although they do have filler eps. like the flashback eps. that thankfully was skipped over in the dubbed version), and so on.
But I must say...
The main character, Lelouch...well I feel like I'm the only one who finds him a b@a$t@ard. An anti-hero, doesn't seem to quite fill his role, although that is what he is. He's not like Light, from Death Note, but still...
I mean, I'm not saying he's gotta be like Luke Skywalker...but look at Zuko. He didn't have heroic qualities, the way Aang did; but he certainly wasn't a Super!jerk like Lelouch.
Okay...the main point of this entry is that I find it REALLY annoying that the main character believes the end justify the "meanness." He wants to create a better world for his little sister, but in doing so, he hurts his half-siblings and childhood best friend.
Gah. Anyways, if you have time, I recommend Code Geass.
I lost the internet for like two months, and I come back here....to the Twilight Zone. What happened? I'm lost. Everything is DIFFERENT and weird. I don't know my way around this place. XD
Do you guys like the new style?
