Managerial Accounting (3 cr)
Marketing (3 cr)
Into to Global Business (3 cr)
Theatre History II (3 cr)
Fundamentals of Nutrition (3 cr)
Intro to Aerospace Engineering (1 cr)

That last cl.ass I dont even need, but Pick-a-prof says its a lecture cl.ass where everyone gets an A for good attendance (and its only 1 hour on a friday). I figure its an easy GPA booster and I can just bring my laptop to cl.ass and post on Gamespo.

Your prof would let you play on GS during class?

I can personally testify to that AERO 101 class. I took it this semester and it's true, you get graded solely on attendance but depending on your professor you may/may not be allowed to have your laptop out, even if the lecture material is unimportant/boring (they have more guest speakers more than anything). Mine didn't let me.

Either way it's a good choice for a blowoff class, nice choice.

^ Im taking Reed.

Ive never had a problem using my laptop out in class, because laptops can be put to legitimate uses such as typing class notes

Im looking forward to the global business class. Supposedly its a hybrid of politics, history and economics, with an entire section focused on middle eastern policy.

Well that's who I had too... and I've seen Dr. Reed tell someone to close up their laptop, so you may be out of luck I'm afraid. Then again I think they were making it very obvious they weren't taking notes of any kind... lol.

Theater history sounds awesome. Have you taken Art History classes before? If not, I highly suggest like any art history class.

I only need 3 hours of visual and performing arts credit, so i opted for theatre since I read a lot of plays in high school english, and generally enjoy a good play (although I will admit my appreciation isnt as much as it could be, which is something else Im hoping to get out of the class)

My Human geography class in high school focused some on art history and art styles, but Ive never taken a full blown course on it. As interesting as it sounds, its not going to work out given that im a finance major.

Good to know dbz. I guess the fact that there are no tests or quizzes means that nobody would have any incentive to take notes anyway. Maybe I'll do sudoku, or maybe I'll drop the class. I averaged it out, and it would only make about a .004 difference on my final gpa.
