Here's an exclusive review of both of these new demos that were recently released.
BioShock Demo
My Score: 9.8
My review: This demo is truely more of a cinematic experinces every to take place in a game .The cut-scenes can somewhat get in the way of gameplay, but it's easy to deal with You get to boost your health evertime you find a health pack you simply hit "B" and you'll get a health-boost! This is the best and most simple health system I've ever seen,at least the best system that has health-packs invovled. You'll start of with a basic wrench, but make your way up to having some real firepower eventually. The concept of EVE Boosts is complicated the first time around, but can be grasped very easily once you get to the know the game. EVE boosts, which is a drug-type object that you inject into your arm give you specific power depending on the ones you've obtained. Things such as setting enemies on fire, electrifiying them, and many more all are contained in an EVE boost .The ability to search dead bodies for weapons, ammo, or even health packs makes you feed of the environment. The BioShock demo is currently released on Xbox Live and I suggest YOU check it out!
Beautiful Katamari
My Score: 3.2
My review: Beautiful Katamari doesn't havr the coolest idea of gameplay, but it is unique. The point of the game, from what i understood, was to roll over things and create giant balls of things. Nothing more to say except for the fact that the cutesty graphics make this demo one for the kiddies to play. The Beautiful Katamari demo is currently on te Xbox Live marketplace also so you may or may not want to check this one out
