Well it's been awhile since I've done one of these (almost a year...), but yeah I don't have a real reason other than I just haven't been around I guess. I'll try to do the blog thing every once in awhile, or at least more than once a year lol. Anyways yeah I do plan of doing a blog here and the few other sites I go too but who knows. But any ways to the topic at hand..

I did something I haven't down in years...

I bought a pack of Pokémon cards. Well actually 3 and I got a rare card with it, not bad for 10 bucks considering 3 packs by themselves would be about 11 and you get an extra rare card as well. No this may not be a big deal really, but I use to love the Pokémon card game and I was really good at it. In truth I gave it up in mid 2002 due to I guess growing up but really I was hiding who I was from someone. I was in my first real relationship and I didn't want to lose it because I like a "Children's Card Game". Looking back it was stupid, I loved playing the game I should of continue see as there are still people who play games like magic who are twice my age. I should have never hid something I love for someone else that was just stupid especially in the end that relationship didn't really end well... But yeah moving on what made me buy a pack of cards to a game I haven't played in years, I don't even really know myself but I think I might have a clue. A few days ago I was hanging out with some friends, something I haven't done in a few months, and they where play Yu Gi Oh!, so the subject was on card games, it brought back memories of Pokémon and I relished I missed playing it. In reality I knew this for a long time, I tried to play other card games, but I never got in to them or got more than a few booster packs, none had what Pokémon did. So anyways I was walking around Wal-Mart the other day, waiting for them to get my medicine ready when I walked past the card game area, a very small area with a lot of Pokémon, yugioh cards, a few other card games that are based on random animes or games. I was looking around and decided what the heck, I picked up a pack with 3 packs in side and a rare card (Latias). As sort of a sign one of my packs had a Dragonite in it, this may not mean much but I loved Dragonairs. The base one with its hyper beam that can remove energy cards, to the dark one with its Pokémon power that allowed me to search my deck for evolution cards. This Dragonite almost belonged with the original dragonair more than the original base dragonite did. This new one had a hyper beam attack as well and an attack that can do 50 to each of my opponents bench, which fit so well in to my original play style. I must say it seems the game was welcoming me back or I just have really good luck, whatever the case may I will not change who I am for anyone ever again that's for sure.

its been awhle since my last blog post I know, but with school and everything its hard to type one up. Anyways life is there and is kind of meh right now, so I thought I rather talk about something fun like Super Smash bros Brawl

Well Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been out in Japan for awhile, and the final roster of characters have been revealed. The starting lineup will include Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pikachu, Samus/Zero Suit Samus, Peach, Fox, Bowser, Ice Climbers, Yoshi, Zelda/Sheik, Meta Knight, Pit, Wario (warioware/Overalls), Ike, Diddy Kong, Pokemon Trainer (Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard), Lucas, King Dedede, and Captain Olimar & the pikmins. Hidden characters include Snake, Sonic the Hedgehog, Luigi, Ness, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Falco, Marth, Ganondorf, Lucario, Wolf, Toon Link (windwaker/Phantom hour glass), and R.O.B (Robotic Operating Buddy, an old NES add on that for some reason Nintendo love, he was also in Mario Kart DS). With this list that bring the grand total of characters to 35. That means only 5 characters from Melee were taken out Pichu, Dr Mario, Roy, Young Link (replaced by Toon Link), and Mewtwo. Now Pichu, Dr Mario, and Roy I understand they were clone characters of Pikachu, Mario, and Marth and young link wouldn't make since in the game since Older Links design isn't from Ocarina of Time this time, it's from Twilight Princess. However why Mewtwo? Mewtwo was an original character with a full original move set, why did they keep Falco and also add Wolf, grant it they changed Falco to act a little different this time and Wolf is just.. psycho (furry fans will have a lot of fun with him I think -_-; ). Other people have said that Lucario is in fact the new mewtwo however that's wrong, his B button and up b button moves are similar to mewtwo, but from what I've seen lucario doesn't attack like mewtwo. The real reason I think he was replaced was there were already too many pokemon and they were all from the red/blue/yellow generation and they wanted a pokemon from the ruby/sapphire or diamond/pearl generation and lucario fits in to that, but then why not get rid of Jigglypuff then? Well it's sad but true mewtwo has been cut at least for now.

The Japanese version of brawl was hacked and under the character files they deserved files for a few more characters, included were Mewtwo, Dr Mario and Roy, along with these 3 Dixie Kong, Plusle & Minun, and Toon Zelda/Sheik or Tetra. There files and models are made and in the game still, though data for their move sets, final smashes, textures and Kirby hats are missing. With this news it was thought that Nintendo will as these characters later as downloads. No one knows but its believed Plusle and Minun would be replacing Pichu, and no one knows if they would be playable at the same time (like Popo and Nana) or if only one was playable at a time (kind of like how Wario has his Wario ware outfit and Overall outfit). Dixie Kong is most likely similar to Diddy Kong though she would probably have slightly different special moves (up B would be her pony tail spin instead of Diddy's Rocket barrel). No info on Toon Zelda is available because no one knows if she would have been a clone of Zelda/Sheik or would have all new moves. There's also confusion if it was going to be Tetra or Sheik. This is because there is no Sheik in twilight Princess, but they did do a design on what she would look like in that game for SSBB so the same thing could have been done for Wind waker. Mewtwo would probably be like he was in melee while Roy and dr Mario may have slightly different moves and special moves or they could be just clone character. If this was true then Pichu would be the only character not returning (which isn't that bad... he sucked to begin with... emo electric mouse). However there's a problem with them being downloadable, in an interview with Masahiro Sakurai the creator and director of the SSB series he said that there were no plans to have characters unlock able and he didn't think the Wii was capable of downloadable content. Now why would they keep the characters models in the game when they weren't going to be used. The thing is there probably not ready to announce it yet and they probably won't be available for downloads for a few months, Europe doesn't even have a launch date for Brawl yet, Sakurai just played dumb, Nintendo from day one said they were going to do downloadable content for their game with the wii and few days after the interview the official announced that this feature will be available sometime this year, most likely around the time that the wii version of rock band is launched. So for now seeing these other characters in brawl in low... but not hopeless.

In other news Nintendo will launch wii ware games sometime in march, there are over 100 projects in the work for wii ware from just about ever company out there, including big names like Square Enix. Nintendo also announced they will launch a new wii channel called the Mario Kart channel when Mario kart wii is released later this year. The channel will show rankings, upload and down load ghost data, and see if your friends are online and hop in to a race with them. It's not bad but this is what Nintendo should be doing with all their online games. Speaking of one line gaming, Nintendo all announced they will be offering a new feature called Pay and Play were you'll need to pay (in wii points) in order to play certain online games, this feature is added due to some companies not wanting to do free online gaming... Nintendo first party titles along with any other third party title that wants to will still be free to play. Titles that you will need to pay for will have a red wifi logo on the box instead of the normal blue one. This is only for Wii games though and not DS. And lastly while it's not official, there are talks about a DS entry in to the Smash bros line up, Sakurai has said that he would love to work on a ds entry if Nintendo chooses to make one.

Also on a personal note... Thank you Nintendo for not forgetting Golden Sun. Issac the main character from the first game is an assets trophy in brawl, while I wanted him to be a playable character, having him in the game at all just makes me jump for joy, so much in so I started playing GS for the GBA..... again, I plan of getting through it and the second entry for the... 12th time... what its good, I might due a review of it once I'm done, I was going to do a review of Tales of Symphonia.... But my TVs broke... *kicks TV* ok I'm done

It's been awhile since I made my last blog post (wow over four months o.O). But a lot has been happening in my life and I didn't really feel like myself before. The truth is for a long time now I wasn't me, the truth is I hated my life and it was turning me in to a terrible person. I left GameDome because of that and I stopped posting on this site as well. I would of never relised this if it wasn't for my friends, one friend in general helped me relised all this and now I'm trying to become a better person. It's been a long road but I'm now ready to start down a new one. I have also rejoined GameDome, as now I feel that I am at a state in mind that I can be of use there, were before I don't think I could. I feel that I can now move on ahead with my life. I'm still not 100% sure what I'm doing but I'm going to try my best to figure it out. In the mean time I've decided to start my blog back up and maybe write a few reviews or other little things while I work on my school (classes start next week) work, and other projects.
