Randomness: Its that time of year, ya know, where Disney princesses, teachers, nuns, nurses, anime characters and schoolgirls all get turned into whore-ish bizzaro world clones of themselves for the sake of Haloween costumes. It's deplorable and i thank God for it every year

Mah Music Spotlight: 
Mah Take: This is one of the bands i found out about at Lolapalooza earlier this year. Simply put, this is the best album that i have heard this year and its not even close. It's only the 4th hardcopy CD I've bought this year and deservedly so cus there isnt a bad track, the lyrics in every song are clever and i love the 50's sty.le dance pop sound. Even if its not your kinda music, i dare anyone to listen to any of the songs below and not tap your feet.The only bad thing is that the songs arent longer.

WTF?!: Parents in a Pennsylvania community are petitioning to have trick-or-treating banned on Halloween night. Why you ask? Because there are not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6... BUT 7...count 'em 7 registered sex offenders in said neighborhood. First off, why in the hell are so many pedo's in one area? Shouldn't they be protesting to get the molesters out of the area?! Call me crazy but rapists shouldn't outnumber minorities at your local block party. Btw, this is just one case, there are 3 separate communities in PA that are doing the same, for other reasons (mainly health concerns). I don't have children so I cant possibly know how paranoid it makes you but if yur that worried, why not just accompany yur little crumb snatcher and skip the deviant houses instead of banning it? But I guess I can see where their concerns come from, Halloween is the one time a year where its completely legal and acceptable for creepy old dudes to offer children candy while disguising their appearance *shudders*.

Halloween is this week and i have no plans whatsoever. No parties as of yet, no tricks, no treats, nothin! This'll be the second year that wont dress up, I've done so every year since grade school but i think i'm finally over it. Anyhoo, question is...
Are you going to dress up for Halloween? if so, what's your costume?

Really freaky having pedos around, but I was thinking just like you, I would accompany my kids instead of depriving them of the fun just because of those darn perverts. Even though some creeps use it to mask their deviant tendencies, I think it is a tradition that shouldn’t be lost. We don’t celebrate Halloween over here, although of course, malls are trying hard to import it selling all kinds of Halloween related stuff, but it doesn’t seem to grow. I’ve never gotten any kid at my door and honestly, I don’t miss it. I have our own traditions to dislike Lol. Whatever you do or end up not doing, have fun. Take care *PPP*

What, no update about that chick you were seeing? Dang. And if you take the Alica costume, made it black, add red ribbon and red stockings, you'll get me feeling like a whore. I was going to Dorothy with a bit of a longer dress but I have no money for the shoes.
And for the whole sex offender thing, I guess it all depends on what they've done. My friends younger brother is now a sex offender due to the fact when he was 19 he had consensual sex with a 16 year old. But then when her parents found out, she said she was raped. He's in jail right now til the trial because of some BS with his new caseworker. Now some people might think I should believe the girl, but this isn't the first time she has done it, she's told many of her friends that it wasn't true, and her last boyfriend was 19. But all in all, good to hear from you!

Yay you blogged!! and I'm late I'm invited to a princess bithday for Halloween, what are we 12?? *facepalm* so yeah I might do the sluting up thing, not that anyone actually sluts up on Halloween here. I'm invited to another Halloween party, but I really feel like I should go to this birthday cause it's a good friend of mine I think that may be cause you would die from the cold I love your drawings, you are really talented!! I've never heard of Vampire Weekend before but the songs are very cool! A-Punk was my favorite of the ones you posted Holy f*ck 7 sex offenders in one neighboorhood! Trick or treating shouldn't be banned, it's a lot of fun for kids. I remember loving it LMAO at the hello kitty darth vader!! & the snake dude

Hey Ryan ... Great pics as always... but wasnt it you who said ages ago that you werent sooo great at portraits?? lol.. modest as usual .... as for the situation in Pennsylvania going out with your kids isnt a problem when they are little but as they get older and want some independence (and dont want their mum or dad dogging their steps) then it becomes more of an issue. the bigger question should be as to why there are 7 registered sex offenders in such a small community thats rife with kids - personally i come from the old school of wanting to string em up by their balls rather than making them go through treatment.. and i know its not politically correct but i dont care - if any touched Lil J they would be in a whole heap of trouble. Talking of therapy.. im strangely attracted to Bert ^^... whatever u decide to do have a great time **scary pokes**

I get your point about the attempted banning on trick or treating in PA, I mean there are all kinds of dangerous people in the world (and not all of them can be indentified by being forced to register)...why wouldn't parents go with their kids, at least until they're into the teen years and even then man. I mean hello lots of people are bad instead of protesting, banning and picketing I dunno know maybe watch the kiddies. We don't live in a danger free world and even if there's weren't any pervs there's still plenty of bad things that can happen...so happy halloween!
I don't really do anything for Halloween, since I was like 14. No real reason I mean I love the holiday but I'm not a kid and I don't drink or really get that into costume detail (not worth the $$$$).

But I just love everyone dressing up, parties, lollies, etc, etc, etc. *vampire weekend high five* I've yet to download their new album but it's on my list. Yes I was shocked when you did. Smulders & Hannigan sluting up seemed like something that would be burned into your brain Nah... I don't have superior other seasons than season one knowledge, I have the DVD and it's just such a fun show to watch randomly that I've seen some episodes upto 20 times lol.
