"24"/7 my "Life" is about "Pushing Daisies" with my "Supernatural"/"Bionic Woman" by my side taking a "Journey-man", earning that "Dirty Sexy Money" so we can get out of "Smallville", don’t get me wrong, "Its Always Sunny", but its all about the "Amazing Race" and Im trying to be a "Big Shot". Yeah, I’m a “Survivor” and the "Damages" that approach get "Chuck”d aside like "Bones" cus my “Endurance” for pain trumps all. With a “Criminal Mind” and inspiration from my “Heroes”, I plan on using my “Will and Grace” to achieve my dreams of blowing "Weed"s enjoying "Californication". Nope, not even the "Two and half Men" that collectively call themselves the "Reaper", or the "Ultimate Fighter" can keep me, my dreams and my lady from being "Drawn Together". Well, there it is, a little thing I like to call “My So-Called Life”. O_o

Quick Thought: I saw the Star Trek trailer as well as the full trailer for Watchmen during the previews of Twighlight, which is better than i anticipated but still not as good as the books. Ever seen a group of grown men squeal? I'd like to say I havent, but the simultaneous nerdgasm's in the theatre would mean I was in denial. I consider myself to be a nerd of sorts but the applause those geeks gave a simple trailer was just insane. Anywho, the tagline for Watchmen is "Who watches the Watchmen?". So, who watches the Watchmen? No one! Not if the haters at Fox have their way. Cant wait to see it, if it ever comes out.

SportsCenter NOTD: Last week a professional baseball team in Japan signed a () year old girl to a contract. This is a great leap forward for women in sports, especially in Japan. I think the integration in sports is cool but I don't see it being a trend, certainly not here in the States. If the unlikely ever occurs it'll be in the sport of Baseball seeing that its our only major, non-contact sport.

Cherry Crush (2007). . .

My Take: (no spoilers) Its not about the soft drink which was dissapointing, kidding. I usually shy away from Noir-type films cus they are usually predictable. Im glad I checked this one out only cus I think John Tucker is a really underrated actor and its proven with his performance here. The story is about a prep school kid from a wealthy family who is into photography. He has a reputation for taking pictures of coeds in flattering, but risqué photographs. This obviously doesn't sit well with the high-seated parents of the exposed girls and it gets him expelled. Through circumstances beyond his control he gets involved in murder and has to clear his own name and try to protect his newest subject, who is also his new flame. I don't think you'll be able to see the ending coming, I didnt.

Ques?ion OTD:

I saw Wall-E, I thought it was good but to much on the emotional side for my tastes. I watch animated because they are usually outrageous and hilarious. I don't wanna be depressed by my animated movies. Shrek is still my favorite non-anime, animated feature. Anyhoo, question is...

Do you know the Muffin Man? Nah, question is, whats yur favorite animated movie?

HOTD:

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe. . .

My Take: (possible spoilers) I don't think she is half as twisted as she wants to be as Gretchen on the series Prison Break. I was kinda pissed when I thought she was killed cus I wanted Michael to get his revenge for what was thought to be Sarah's murder. Anyhoo, she looks mighty fine in a Catholic school uniform, but who doesn't. I could go without seeing her getting physical with father time though. -shudders

HOTD:

Jon Hamm. . .

My Take: (no possibility of a spoiler) I saw that he was apart of the poll for the sites hottest actor's award. I Don't know the guy, don't watch the show Mad Men, so I'll ask a question. Critics seem to think this show is just the greatest thing ever. Anyone watch it? Anyone recommend it? I didnt check it out when it premiered cus it didnt seem like something i would be interested in.

Music Spotlight:

Death Cab for Cutie. . .

My Take: Me and this band have had a love-hate, love-hate, love-hate and then love them again kinda relationship. Loved them in high school listening to the album "You Can Play These Songs With Chords". It was quirky and was way beyond what the mainstream was accustomed to hearing at the time. Then towards the end of my high school days I thought they conformed with the release of "Transatlanticism". Since then though, it has been all highs and no lows. They are back to being what i love.., A band that can adjust to the culture changes in the music industry without losing there individuality. Check 'em out.

PL: aka "The one with the Long Weekend"...

Tomorrow is my mom's Bday an she is going to be turning 40 years old. Yep, 40 years old... plus, 13 other years she'd like us all to forget exist. I got her gift a while ago so no worries there, and we are celebrating hers and 4 others on Saturday. With Thanksgiving this Thursday, a party this past weekend and another this Saturday, I'll have consumed roughly, my body-weight in delicious cakes and pies. *tilts head back and drools*. The gf's party was cool, we went to Dave & Buster's (it's like an indoor carnival with no creepy-ass clowns). Also the food was better, It was fun, over-priced, but fun. She's one of the few people I know that likes music as much as me. Problem is, she was sadly living in the 90's. Still using her walkman cus she said it worked and had no intentions of going through the process of formatting her hundreds of CD's, most of which were in storage. I dragged her into the 21st century by getting her an ipod with a nifty orange protector. Also got her another gift which to be honest was more of a gift for me . Sunday, I spent around 4 hours putting all her CD's on the comp. Proud of my work, I went to sync her ipod and that's when I realized an itunes library can only support one ipod and it'll erase the second once you connect it. So, I spent another 4 hours putting her songs on the laptop. We didnt end up going to visit her parents cus neither of us could take a break from work. Instead, they are coming here for Thanksgiving and they are staying through the weekend. Oh joy.

MyTube: Prison Break - Am I the only one who finds it hard to take Michael Rappaport seriously as a tough guy? Supernatural - Dean got himself a slice of angel food cake. It had to be good right, it came from an angel.

Quick Thought: Have you noticed that local news channels used scare tactics to get peoples attention for that nights broadcast? I have. These are the ones from Monday and Tuesday. "Is artificial turf killing your kids", "Is your child hiding a weapon in your home", "Dust Bunnies, their deadly secret". Ok, I made that last one up, but still... scary shyt right? I don't know the answers to those questions, but I do know what im NOT watching at 10:00pm for the details.

SportsCenter NOTD: Martha Stewart has been charged again with insider trading, Will this old lady ever learn?! Wait, it wasn't Martha? My mistake. Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks has been charged with insider trading after prematurely pulling stock out of a soon-to-be failing internet site. Not only does this finally give the MLB owners committee a reason to veto Mark's bid to buy the Chicago Cubs, he is most likely going to the spa, errrr... jail, for a while.

LakeShow took care of business like they should all the time. Going to Gasol early and often the Bulls never really stood a chance and the end result makes it look like the game was closer than it really was. Meh, im pretty sure they were looking ahead cus the Bulls arent much of threat with a new head coah and more injury problems than they have players. Btw, what the hell is that on Drew Gooden's face? Lakers have a big-time matchup Thursday vs Phoenix. Not in terms of the standings cus I don't see Phoenix being contenders in the West or them being a threat to win the division. The reason its huge is because its Kobe v Shaq. If yur a Laker fan, you know Kobe is salivating for this match even though he'll swear it was just another game. Since this is the first time they'll meet on the court since Shaq eloquently posed the statement... "Kobe, tell me how my ass tastes", expect Kobe's response will be something like... "Diesel, How'd those 50 points taste".

Notes on a Scandal (2006). . .

My Take: (No Spoilers) Two words... Cate Blanchett is awesome! Wait, that's four words. Meh, this aint about my poor math skills and Judi Dench isnt bad herself. Not the typical movie I'd find myself watching but thankfully I did. Outside of the two leads (Blanchett and Dench) its well cast and takes a turn I don't think you'll see coming. Its starts off as just a story about a teacher who starts an affair with one of her students and quickly turns into a story of blackmail on the part of Dench's character. Check it out.

Ques?ion OTD: I was once really into the MTV show True Life, it was like voyeurism without the threat of harassment charges. After a while I stopped watching because it became mundane and failed to feature people who had actual problems. I happened to be channel surfing yesterday and it was on so I thought I'd watch. The subject was "Im under Peer Pressure". One girl was under so much stress from her friends and her boyfriend, she decided to get breast implants. Personally, I couldn't care less about what a person does to their body, my problem is with the girls Doosh of a boyfriend. Why date her for years if you like a girl with a large chest, which clearly, she isnt close to having?! Anywho, question is...

Would you go through a major change physically, or personality-wise to please yur spouse?

HOTD:

Olivia Wilde. . .

My Take: (possible spoilers) Is that an awesome pic of her or what?! Lucky 13, lucky House and lucky us. Only know her as 13 on the series House, but that's quite enough. I think she filled in nicely as House's moral compass while Wilson was away. I hope she doesn't get fired because of the self destructiveness or leave due to the Huntington's because I think she blends in well with the rest of the cast. Plus, I don't want House to lose his motivation to make all the bi-sexual jokes.

HOTD:

Ashton kutcher. . .

My Take: Kelso has come a long way. I remember watching him on That 70's Show, thinking who finds this goofy bastard attractive?! The reason I thought this is because he used to be an underwear model. Like I said, he has come a long way; it seems like he has been in more things than he has. One thing I loved him in was Guess who, great comedic timing in that movie. No idea if he is capable of being serious, but who cares, right?!

Music Spotlight:

Copperpot. . .

My Take: Underground and proud. I love pretty much every version of the song "I put a Spell on you" I've heard. That song is the way I found out about this group. Other than MManson's , theirs is definitely my favorite. They are probably the most eccentric group of people to ever be apart of one band. Theres around 15 people in the group who rotate at random Maybe weird would have been a better word and it shows up in their music, but in a good way. They kinda mix rock music over hip-hop beats, sometimes its vice-versa, Sorta like N.E.R.D. You'll have to check them out on yur own if yur interested cus i cant find their songs on YouTube... I said they were underground.

PL: aka "The one with broken faith"...

My sister is coming in from Michigan next weekend for the party. Since there are so many Bday's so close together, we celebrate them all at once. Pretty excited about it, it'll be the first time all five of us will be together in more than a year. When I was 14, my grandmother (mother's side) who was a devout Catholic, gave all of us grandkids rosaries. I kept it but never wore it cus I was never really a religious type of person. That hasn't changed much but I started wearing it after she died and yesterday it broke. When i tell my mother and it gets back to my aunt (being the bible thumper she is), she'll probably interpret it as a sign for me to rejoin the church. Im in no hurry to tell her its broken. Less troublesome news, October 16th was officially the start of the seemingly endless barrage of birthdays in my family. Saturday is the gf's, next Tuesday is my mothers and there are 6 others this month alone. Its no wonder im always light on cash this time of year. I'm thinking about buying a huge bag of bite-sized assorted candy bars and letting them go at it grab-bag st.yle, lol.

MyTube: Heroes - The people who write negative reviews for this show either have really high expectation or they simply aren't watching. Supernatural - The new Ruby is growing on me. All together, the show keeps getting better. Bring on Lucifer.

Oh and my title had absoultely nothing to do with my entry, i just love that verse.

...Diagnostic skills. Geez, you people are perverted.

Quick Thought: A 26 year old man in Florida was charged and convicted on the basis of "endangerment to a minor", "Public intoxication" and "public indecency" after he drunkenly wandered onto a highschool football field where at the time cheerleaders were practicing and proceeded to relieved himself. Not only did he get arrested, but he was put on a watch list for sex offenders. Come on guy, smarten up. I've relieved myself in public and exposed myself to tons of people, but none of them have ever been minors.

SportsCenter NOTD:A tie? The Bengals and the Eagles tied? Did anyone else know this was possible? pfft, both teams played like crap so they deserved it. On a good note, Bengals didnt lose. Staying in football, are the Titans THIS good or is the league THAT bad? Ill go with the latter. Not to hate on the Titans but comparing it to the Patriots undefeated streak last year, they arent that good. The overall talent ppool in the league is down considerably from last year and most of the teams we expect to be good all year have been plagued with injuries. But hey, a win is a win is a win.

Turns out the Lakers aren't invincible, there are some chinks in the armor and like last year, they can still be beaten by a strong defense. Maybe it was an off night and as much as I would like to believe it was fatigue or lackluster effort that did them in, it couldn't be because it was the Pistons that were on a back-to-back. Kobe didnt gun it, but he wasn't on his A or even his B-game either. Meh, 7-1 aint bad

Star Wars: The Clone Wars. . .

My Take: (No Spoilers) Ill preface this by saying wait a week before watching if you aren't already watching. Why? Because I seriously think the worst episode will be this Friday when they do an entire episode featuring the worst Star Wars character ever... Jar Jar "frickin" Binks. Anyway, it's a really good series that I think stands alone from the rest of the series. It helps, but you don't need to see any of the movies to get into, though I doubt theres a person alive that hasn't seen them. One of the greatest things about the show is the scenes with the droids and clones. We really get to see the personalities of both which is a first. The droids are hilarious, Grievous is a bad-ass, a coward but a bad-ass and Ahsoka is hands down the coolest padawan ever. Check it out Fridays @ 8pm.

Say Whaaaat?: I just saw on my yahoo! page that "Meh" is officially a word now. Way to catch up with us in cyber-land, rest of te world. We gotta "Doosh" and "OMG" into he dictionary, lol. That would be the decline of the English language. Lindsay Lohan, in an interview with (Who the hell cares magazine) called President elect, Obama... "colored". Wow, Hohan. I didnt think it was possible for me to think any less of her than I already did. And not that i give a crap about what she says or does but, "colored"? Either she's a bigot, mistakenly living in the mid 50's, or she really is, just that ignorant. Either way, it proves no one should be putting a microphone in front of her face for any reason other than asking what she is drinking or to inquire into the whereabouts of her missing underwear.

HOTD:

Morgan Webn. . .

My Take: G4tv's own resident sexy, nerd. Whats better than an attractive woman? An attractive woman who is not only a total geek, but also wildly intelligent. Morgan is also hilarious even though you may not get the jokes if yur not a nerd or have a life. I stopped watching X-Play a while ago but luckily she does guest spots on a lot of G4's shows. She has a segment on the network called "A Morgan Minute"... Single best 60 seconds on television.

HOTD:

Chris Brown. . .

My Take: I like his music and he is a really good dancer/entertainer. Not gonna go out an buy his albums but he makes really catchy songs and creative music videos. Anywho, I know a lot and I mean, a lot of ladies who think he is, in their words... "fine as hell". My sister is one of them. She is pretty much obsessed with him and the posters on her wall back me up. I dunno, must be the dimples.

Music Spotlight:

Within Temptation. . .

My Take: I hate to say it and to even make the comparison but they are like a waaay better version of Evanescence. The reason I like rock bands is because they are energetic and perfect to listen to if yur trying to get pumped for something. Sometimes though, when im just relaxing and listening to the lyrics in music, some rock groups music tends to blend after a while and ever song starts to sound like the last. That doesn't happen at all listening to this group. Plus, i may have a slight crush on the lead singer.

PL: aka "The one with the spree"...

I went to Circuit City and man, was it packed in there. I managed to get a few movies scratched off my queue. Including Hellboy 2, Harry Potter: OOTP, The Jerk, Jingle All the Way, Ghost, We Own the Night, American History X and a killer anime called X. The gf is graduating from culinary school in March and her 23rd Bday is this Saturday, I wanna do somethin special for her and I've been spazzing out about what to do. In the six years I've known her and the 4 years we've been together, I've never forgotten her Bday but I have kinda slacked off with the gift giving. She doesn't really like being spoiled which is cool cus I kinda suck at big gestures. I've been hitting up my sisters for advice and they havent been much help. So much for womanly advice . We are going to Minnesota to visit her parents, not really looking forward to her father and his dumb-ass no sleeping in the same room rule. She likes the color Orange and she likes chocolate cake with white icing so I got those two things nailed. My very good and very gay friend had a party Saturday and to keep it "PG", ill just say it was a scene. We played a game that was kinda like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, except swap out the "tail" for a _____, and exchange the donkey for a picture of a well-built Latin fella wearing a bandana. I did get some news, don't know if its good or bad, but apparently I seem like I would be a "power-bottom". Don't know what that means, and im way to terrified to google it. Damn, I really babbled there, sowwy.

MyTube: Raising the Bar - Just finished watching the season finale, very good series, I hope it returns for a second season. Naruto Shippuuden - Holy shyt it's getting good. Spaz-jutsu. Lipstick Jungle - Cancelled! Damn, one of the very few shows me and the gf enjoy watching together.
