So here in canada Eb Games did not change their name to Gamespot like its american counterpart in doing so i think they wanted to keep the brand name that is well known in canada.

Well today I wanted to let the gaming site know that EB Canada at least does not allow trade ins of PC games, and the reason given is CD-keys and Secure Rom. Todays gaming scene is protected by secure rom cd keys copy protection and among other things cd key theft,. so eb make the choice to stop allowing people to trade in old PC games at any location. The sad thing is all my games were kinda old, like Fary Cry 1, Call of Duty 1,2 so on and wouldnt have that problem. lucky i was able to trade in somethings i had for the console but I was shocked that they wouldnt let me trade in pc games that they were known for so long for in doing. The only option now I have is pawn shop if you are over 18 and if not that the garbage or in the rare case garage sale.

So be warned the next time you buy a Pc game and want to trade it in, your stuck with it forever, or have to live with the fact that you may have to chuck your once great game in the trash.
