So the main rides:
Cyclone:
Rode 2 times. First ride $8 and sat in row 3 in the first car. And wow it feels a lot more rougher than it did when I rode it 2 years ago. [Whiplash was a killer].
Anyways, waited till the train returned since someone took the front row again. So when the train got back, I took the front seat for myself. And reride was $5.*1
Lol, I honestly wished I had someone sitting next to me as I slid across the seat at the turns. Also call me insane, but I also took my camera with me to record the ride Don't expect perfection as it was pretty rough, so you won't be seeing anything new on youtube.

I take a few minutes to settle down and then just walk around the parks taking my time and some pictures of the rides before heading for the Wonder Wheel.

Wonder Wheel:
Rode once and $6 one ride. And of course I go for the swinging car. Pretty fun experience. Oh and um, be careful of one of the stationary cars as they used it like a cage for a guard dog. Lol it was so cute just lying down on the floor sleeping. Sorry no pics of that though, car passed by me too quickly.

Finally after 1 hour at the park, I take my last pics and head back home.
So adios CI, you will be missed [assuming they finally develop something there for next year]. Personally other than the Cyclone and Wonder Wheel and maybe those 'horror houses' there's not much that will be missed when the rides are sold off or relocated. I would personally love having a mega coaster in that area with the minium drop of 150 ft [or as tall as the Wonder Wheel?]

*1 Is it me or did they jack up the prices to take advantage of the closing down of the park at the end of the month?

Went to the park on tuesday:

A happy 23rd for me and went to Six Flags Great Adventure. I got there well b4 10am and when the gates opened I went to the western area of the park where it was roped off till 10:30am.

A] needless to say it was worth it as I went to my inteded destination of Kinda Ka. [I knew I had to get this ride done w/asap since line waits can be as insane as 2-3hrs]. I lucked out and it turns out I probably waited around 40-45min. And wow, the launching was insane, then the climb to the top then the peak and then finally falling back towards the ground over the big hill and then to a stop. I later would go back and reride the ride since i was there and i figure I may as well ride again when the wait was still decent. I waited another 45min and this time was a bit more prepared for the launch and wow was it just a thrill.

B] Next went for Superman Ultimate flight, where you are strapped into the car and then the cars 'flip' up, so your back is against the tracks and you can see the ground below you.

C] next went to the Great American Scream machine, [imo it seems to be among the most underrated ride in the park where rides like superman, kinda ka, el toro, etc. gets all the publicity] so after some girls asks me to skip them to take an empty seat, i meet a coaster enthusiast and he and i finds out this was the first time either of us rode this ride. but afterwards [and all the nice loops and turns] we parted ways as he had to meet up w/someone.

D] went to El Toro, but it turns out the ride was closed for some reason and then i had to settle for less being the Rolling Thunder, which wasn't too bad, but shook like hell, the dips were mild [being a mid level thrill ride]

E] went to Medusa which was like all the way at the end of the park, kinda hard to get to being there were no signs pointing to it [had to rely on the map] then after 30 or so min, got on and also had a nice time on it. Another floorless coaster for me [first being Kraken in Sea World, Orlando]

[-] passed by the runaway train [lol, like i'm going to ride a kiddie 'coaster'] probably should've taken the skyride, but I needed to take a break after 5 strait coasters, so i would get something to eat and then later walk to the Eastern area of the park for Nitro and Batman[-]

F] got on line for Batman the Ride and the line was pretty long for this one, and after finally riding it, it seemed like a letdown being so short and all [i'm so spoiled w/Montu from BG, Tampa], but for an inverted coaster, it was pretty good.

G] I knew I should've avoided this ride, but since seeing the movie and watching all the hype for this coaster, I ended up waiting over an hour, maybe more. [ironically this is the only ride I waited more than 50min for] seems like there was some problems where some guests had to be escorted out. Once inside, there's like some 'waiting area' where it kinda takes a scene from the movie involving Harvey Dent giving a speach to the press and later the joker hijacking the transmission. Then the doors open to what looks like mini Gotham city rail cars. Basically to spoil the 'surprise'. [If you know what a layout of a 'wild mouse' ride is like, then this is it. Maybe they made the train a bit faster especially on the tight corners, but for a wild mouse ride w/the 'gotham city' backdrop/cardboard cutouts, this ride is a big dissapointment for the torn down Batman and Robin - the Chiller]

H] whether by luck or something else, I get on line for Nitro [the last major coaster I've yet to ride] the line ends up taking like maybe 20-25min [plus it helps they ran all 3 trains] so I didn't have to wait too long and 1st ride it was intense, the first drop and at such speeds of 80mph, just wow! and all the hills and tight turns, all while being held down by a lap restraint. [And funny part of the ride was the playing of the Mortal Kombat theme while we were in the station]. So overall I got to ride Nitro 3 times and all under 1 hour.

I] end of the day and to cap the day off, I rode an unknown ride, called Skull Mountain. I know it is an indoor coaster, but since there's like no description for it other than being an indoor coaster, I had to check it out even if it is a mild ride. I rode it and it's got a few twists and turns, I guess kinda unique, but it wasn't too fast and was actually quite calm. The uniqueness of the layout makes this ride slightly better than the Dark Knight Coaster, it is that much better [or the DKC was just that bad].

[-]end of the day and i leave the park for home, adding a bunch of excellent to soso coasters on the "rode list"[-]

Simply to say, 5/5 stars.

It was just perfect and if you loved Begins, you will totally be floored by this movie. I thought it was impossible to make a Batman movie darker than the Tim Burton movies, but this one accomplishes just that. Ledger, I admit, owns this role and even did a better job than Jack Nicholson in the 1989 film.

The theater was totally packed and I am glad to have at least seen it for myself and this is a movie well worth watching again especially the Imax screen.

SO if you haven't seen it yet, go see it if you can get a ticket to see it.
