I could care less about the PS3 Home Porn Issue and I have a 11 year old and a 3 year old. I monitor and are involved with what my kids do. But, I understand I cannot keep them from every "evil" of the world. Think back to your childhood. Did you see naked girls in a magazine? How about trying drugs, smoking, or alcohol? I cannot be a "life" police for my kids as they will be exposed to everything I have been, sometimes more.

But on the other hand entertainment, phone use, going outside to play, and who their friends are, is something to be very involved in I think. I will own a PS3 and I applaud Sony for supporting free speech rights. But my kids will not be on it unless I am present, so this affects me not-in-the-least.

This is because I do not believe in using games, TV, online and computers, or anything else to baby sit or teach my kids. If people have a problem with this, its because they do not want to raise their kids. They want them to "Go Play" or for them to have "Personal Space". If you do not have time to be there for your kids, you should not have any. If you want kids but cannot make the time, then do not have kids.

I could care less how much or little a person makes. What excuse can someone have for being too busy, overworked, stressed out, or not have the time to be involved in your kids life? The answer is none. If your going to have kids you need to be there for them. The only reason this is an issue is the people who are having kids should not be.

Of course everyone is so selfish that no one cares about each other. If I need to have time with my wife, our family pulls together and helps us, we also do the same for them. We do not have a great deal of time as we are constantly helping each other out. But our kids are not suffering for our decisions and that is how it should be.
