^Official Online/FC entry, for those who are interested.
This is where I will say whatever is on my mind. It probably won't be often, but when I have something, you'll know that it almost had to be to the point where I had to speak. I'll try my best to keep it video-game related, but I might throw in a few other things for kicks.
Note: This is ANOTHER blog entry regarding THAT REVIEW I was supposed to had posted almost two weeks ago. If you don't want to hear anymore about it, which I can't say I blame you, ignore this blog entry. For those who have a little time to spend reading something mostly pointless, by all means, keep reading if it's your desire to do so. ![]()
Anyways, I think this may be one things that regardless of what I do, I can't accomplish what I want to. It's kind of funny, seeing as how I should know this game like the back of my hand, but maybe that's the problem. I'm going to let the cat out of the bag now; this was supposed to be a review of Super Mario Bros. 3, which was the first game I ever obtained as my own. The problem with this is that I don't want the review to become a victim of my extreme fondness of the game, which may be the thing preventing me from doing a review for it not only recently, but on quite a few occasions now. The one thing I try to avoid with my reviews is a great deal of hyperbole, and no matter how I try to describe the games features and what it was able to do, that's what it has been feeling like. I really want to get this thing done, but I can't even get myself going outside of a paragraph here and there.
I'm not going to trash my current document of the review at this time, but for those who may have been expecting a review from me soon, I can say don't... or at least for this game. That said, this SHALL be a review I get done one of these days, as I feel like my collection of reviews will always be missing something if I don't add this one to it. It kinda reminds me of my game collection and the NES games I still need to get back... but that's for another topic. Anyways, I've been feeling somewhat down about this lately, and I wanted to vent a little. Afterall, I believe this is my blog, and I can do that every now and then. ![]()
Hmm... I can't have this blog entry be all sour grapes. It needs a positive vibe, and I think I just might know the trick... *searches*
If you want to know what can make you feel better after a rant, it's listening to other people rant, especially sports-related rants! (If you've ever seen me use the term "diddly-poo" or ever see me use it, this is where I got it from!) ![]()
Hi, hey, hello, and yo! Because I have things I need to be doing, I'll make this one a little shorter than usual. First of all, I haven't forgotten about that review I was supposed to be doing; I actually started on it last week when I said I was going to, but a few paragraphs in, I just lost interest and couldn't get myself going with the meat of the review the way I wanted to. It's a little tough doing retro reviews at times... Oh well, it's still something that's pretty fresh on my mind, and I'll try to get back on it today.
In other news, Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 came out a few days earlier than it was announced to, and that's what I've been playing the past three days. Let's just say you don't want to know how many hours I've put into it already (HINT: Remember that top 10 most played games blog? It has already made an impact on that...
). What it did do, though, was inspire me to create an entry where I can post FCs and other online related into, though, so that's good.
Anyways, off for now. Sorry I haven't been around too much the past few days, but you know how that goes. Peace!
Hello. I'm not sure why this just came to me after all of this time, but at the moment, I feel the need to make a visual and accessible entry of my online gaming contacts for all members of GameSpot to see and perhaps those who I know and happen to stumble upon this page some how. As of now, this will be where anyone will be able to find out what online-playable games I have (and are actually somewhat active with) and how you can add me to you list of contacts, should you so choose to. As I get more games, I will add them to this entry, and I will try to put a link to this entry in a location for all to see.
Feel free to comment, but if you want to add me, I advise that you send me a PM, so I can get back to you quicker.
