I lived in Calgary Alberta for a while, one year that I was there it actually had snow on at least one day of each month for the entire year.

In 1998 (March 17) we got what is called a "hundred year snow" with 50cm of snow (20 inches) hitting the ground in less than 8 hours. It then snowed lightly for 2 more days.

NOTHING was able to move for the first day, not ambulances, fire trucks, buses, even snow plows were getting stuck. The local news put out a request to anyone owning Hummers or Humvees to report to local hospitals to be dispatched as ambulances for critical needs.

It was an amazing experience to see just how much (despite all our technology) we still remain at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Happy Easter to you too Rob!!

Still looking forward to welcoming you to China.

Hey Rob. There are some that will claim that this is all part of global warming! And then call for extra tax on our fuel! Loads of cr@p, I say!

Hope you had a good easter.
