It's one of two things, really, readers - either I'm getting better at games in general or Halo 3: ODST is markedly easier than its predecessor. Knowing my luck, it is probably the second. Within a week of purchasing the game (not including the trip to Turkey in between) I rampaged through the game on Normal mode and even completed the elusive Vidmaster Challenge [FORBIDDEN GAMESPOT WORD ARGH] Achievement, which entails completing any level on Legendary without firing a shot or throwing a grenade, as well as Vidmaster Challenge: Brainpan, which involves finding and otaining all seven skulls on the new maps in the game.

That leaves three out of seven Vidmaster Achievements completed (I had previously completed "7 on 7", which is to reach 7 EXP on the 7th of any month) and all that entails is for me to rope some friends in to assist me with two of them, then for me to simply work at the final two. Then, with all seven attained, I will be rewarded with the elusive Recon armour for online play!

Once Tomathy101 gets ODST, we will hopefully blast through the campaign on Legendary together, and possibly, with additional assistance, maybe even chip away at some of those pesky Vidmasters!
