As we all know castlevania series is a great success of konami's products.
The secret lies within the scenario and the chance to give the player what he needs,action,quest,leveling and such.
Well lets talk about Simon Belmont,he was the 1st hero appeared and the best in my opinion.
All started when he carried the vampire killer whip from his descendants, and started his quest all the way from his village to save world from the tremendous forces of count Dracula.

1st appeared in the nes/famicon system at the year of 1986.
It was the 1st and original castlevania,the plan was to lead simon through the castle fight the ghouls and find your way upstairs to the throne room, and destroy Dracula.
Though this game hasnt much options, the gameplay is simple and all retro gamers will love it.
The difficulty level is a bit tough, which makes the game more interesting and more hard to beat.

Simon's 2nd appearence was released at 1988' also for the nes systems.
Castlevania Simon's quest was sure one the games keeps us busy for hours, now this game is different unlike the 1st.
It has quest to solve, artifacts to collect, and such.
The plan is to guide Simon through villages,forests and dungeon to find Dracula's body relics.
Simon must break his curse that Dracula had casted on him.
As you play you'll through you'll find that you can ask the villagers to give some info about the artifacts youre lookin for, and meet some ppl who'll help you in your quest.
the music backround is more than great, and you'll be amazed by it.
The game is very interesting, but if you want to enjoy it till the end, you will melt your hands on the controller, while you'll keep dying again and again.

The same year was also released Haunted Castle for the arcade coinop systems.
The plan is just to hit the highest score as you guide Simon Belmont through the castle.

Other Castlevania title were keep goin up, for the gameboy systems and nes.
And at 1991 konami's courageous summon came back by releasing the awesome Super Castlevania iv for the Snes systems.
This is one of the best Simon belmont games,and the one who made him famous and always on top.This is some short of a remaked Castlevania 1(nes),though unlike nes castlevania, this is a lot more improved and fun to play.
Simon Belmont is very well made in the 16 bit graphic world, and thrills as with his skills.
The Castlevania has also one of the best soundtracks ever in my opinion.
You plan remains tha same, to lead Simon to the throne room and destroy the Dark Lord Dracula,
and as you play,you'll notice a lot of great gameplay coming through.The difficulty lv is just perfect to made you master Castlevania games.
One must have game.

Years passed since Simon's last appearence on the snes system, until 2001 came in with another Simon Belmont game for psx system.
It was Castlevania Chronicles a remake based on the original vampire killer.
It is amazing how Simon Belmont is well made, and appears with long red hair.
This game offers the players to have a chance to enjoy the varation of Castlevania 1, though it is in 2d world.the gameplay is great.
It also gives you the chance to unlock another remake version of the original Castlevania 1, by beating the game.You will also unlock gallery illustrations,interviews and soundtracks.
Very interesting Castlevania game,and Simon here proves what he is really made of !!!

Since 2001 we didn't saw another appearence of Simon Belmont, and i wish konami will have the brilliant idea to come up with a new Simon Belmont for the new generation systems.
and i think also a 3D world with Simon would be amazing.
well we keep hoping that we'll enjoy it that way.

Until then, we should just enjoy the new castlevania titles keep coming for psp and ds.
