...because time online is a rare commodity at the moment! Just wanted to say hello, and have a look at what's going on in the world of gaming (when you have to rely on TV ads to see what's coming out, you know you're in trouble). My little twins are growing bigger every day - they aren't yet old enough to hold the 360 controller but we are already starting to think that we're going to have to buy a Wii at some point. Funnily enough I haven't played much recently (well, not real games, just with little plastic toys) although I've watched a lot of Far Cry 2 being played, and now Mr J has moved on to Red Alert 3, the lucky fella. Am hoping to have time to pick up my DS at some point - game suggestions welcome.

Best wishes to all :-)

Good to hear you seem to be bonding..and tying to introduce games to your kids at an early age

Glad to hear things are going well. Perhaps the new Pokemon game (I think its out sometime in the coming weeks/couple of months) as they seem quite popular and I enjoyed what I had played in the past. If you are into Puzzle games maybe a bit of good old tetris to get going with or Henry Hatsworth which I am told is something similar to Proffesor Layton but I have played neither.

Great to hear you are all getting along well. Apparently, "Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box" is coming some time this year (after only being released in Japan), so I'm sure that will be a must.

GTA: Chinatown Wars you could try. Well, maybe not show the young ones.

You were right about Prof Layton - Loved it!
Broken Sword is one recomendation if you have the time. I'd import a copy of Peggle-DS from the states though; real short enjoyable games and its seriously addictive.

Glad to hear the twosome are keeping well. Just wait till they start walking

I'd recommend Phoenix Wright - you can save at almost any point and it'll keep you gripped for hours!

Hope all is well.

You need to get MrJ off that 360 with Puzzle Quest: Galactrix out this week.

@ Danny - Peggle DS?! Love that idea.

@ dab198 - ooh Galatrix! I feel Mr J may be cooking dinner a few times next week so I can play!

Thanks all, see ya soon

Good to hear from you. How about Henry Hatsworth? Looks like it'd be right up your street.

Far Cry 2 is a tough game to watch being played. It's like being in the back seat of a car on a long, long road trip. Except occasionally you get to see the driver heal gruesome wounds when he's ambushed by armed militias.

Henry Hatsworth looks like it's quite good a Pokemon Platinum is coming out soon, I know that's going to take a lot of my time.

It's good to see you blogging and come back to work as soon as possible, the podcast isn't the same without you! (no one to control Guy).
