One of my favorite films of all time. I first watched this with my father when I was younger and did not think I was going to be too interested, but it was basically one of the reasons I love sci-fi now. I loved the storyline, how you can travel through gates to different worlds! The acting was great in my opinion, Kurt Russell did a very good job. James Spader was awesome as Jackson.. I am so glad this movie came along, otherwise I would not have Stargate to watch now.

Elijah Wood, although may be wimpy at points, still manages to shine through this movie. And Sean Astin was great as Sam. He seems to be underrated in this film. He was one of the best.
