Flashback to Christmas 2007....
For one of my gifts, I was given Bioshock. I played it for about 20, 30 minutes or so & thought, "This is a cool game.". Very cinematic, it was. Never really played it again....kept getting sidetracked by other games.
Flashback to about a week ago....
For the life of me, I cannot put this game down! In waiting on Fallout 3 to be released, I decided to play & complete some games I'd been sitting on. I've very much gotten caught up in the storyline & cannot believe I had this game for all this time & did not get into it until recently.
Better late than never I guess..........

Still haven't gotten into Bioshock, myself. Other titles have my undivided attention.
And FALLOUT 3 will be ridiculously engaging!

oh man if only i had another game to pass the time away until Fallout 3. 4 days left... in Australia anyway..
but I heard that F3 and Bioshock are similar in some ways.

Bioshock is a blast. A dream city that turned into a chaotic underwater city filled with genetic mutated humans....great game indeed. Fallout 3 is going to be awesome. Check out the youtube videos Fallout 3 Part 1: Escape through part 5

I just couldn't really get into Bioshock. I mean, it was great. I loved the story, the environment, and the concept. But for me, I guess it didn't live up to the hype. You know, I heard all these amazing things about the game, I finally went out and got it, but I was expecting a game that would simply blow my mind. Like I said, it was good, but the hype I was getting from people made it sound like it was the greatest game of all time. I guess it was that disappointment that didn't allow me to enjoy it to the fullest extent :'(
