As if Steam wasn't a big enough problem before now I can't install any third party mods. The reason? Every mod is supposed to be installed under [root]:   Program Files   ValveSteam   SteamApps   [your user name]   Half-Life   [mod folder name] right? The problem is that there is no user name folder in SteamApps, in fact, there are no other folders at all under SteamApps. Can anybody give my any help on this because I've had several problems with Steam before and I just can't put up with hours of googling for the solution yet again. If not I'm just going to cancel my account, my second favorite series ever and Steam is ruining it.

God, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Steam is the bringer of pain, needed to play Half-Life, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, and so forth. I decided to fix it and after reinstalling Steam, my games, my mods, and applying the patches for the mods I can run some things successfully if I shut down all other applications (including Zone Alarm) but it still can't load Azure Sheep. Is it just me or is it too much too ask to be able to play a game that I legally purchased?
