Level 42
Rank: Karnov

Karnov is a game by Data East, available in arcades and on various home consoles. The game stars some crazy Russian dude named Karnov. Karnov was a popular character I guess, because Data East went on to include him in many of their other games. Eight of them according to Wikipedia.

Saves: 105
Deaths: 2
Enemies Defeated: 330
Money Gained: 2818285 Yen
Demon Fangs Found: 80
Praise Earned: 2682

I'm surprised at the amount of stuff the game tracks. I didn't realize my deaths were being tracked, because the game doesn't show them off prominently on the save screen like Zelda games do. And I had no idea it would be tracking the amount of days that passed or the number of saves I created.

I thought I had earned a fair bit of praise, but apparently I only actually got a minimal amount of praise. There were still a lot of animals that I hadn't fed yet, and there's probably other stuff I missed too.

Level 41
Rank: Thunder Force

Thunder Force is a scrolling shooter computer game released by Technosoft in 1983. It is the first game in the Thunder Force series. It was initially released for the Sharp X1 computer, and later appared on the Sharp MZ-1500, NEC PC-6001 mkII, and in 1985 on the NEC PC-8801 mkII. In 1984, it was released for the FM-7, and NEC PC-9801 computers as Thunder Force Construction, featuring an add-on that allowed players to create custom made areas.

Yes, I just ripped that right from Wikipedia. I'm lazy. Leave me alone.

Level 42 is coming up soon, and hopefully I won't put off that blog for too long like I did with this one.
