Yo yo what is up.

Alright, I'm back and I've been back for a while now too, back home rocking out on my 360. Killing zombies in Left 4 Dead while listening to kpop. Good stuff man. Well back here I didn't get much done. Just playing a bit of everything, slowly trying to finish Far Cry 2 and playing a bit of Bully.

I got some Microsoft points and bout myself Mothership Zeta DLC for Fallout 3 and really, besides the awesome Samurai Sword and Armor and the cool alien weapons. That DLC wasn't much, meh it was disappointing… I mean that spacewalk was literally a spacewalk. If you know what I mean. So yea and I also bought Battlefield: 1943! Yes that arcade Battlefield game with only three classes and four (?) maps. But it's still full of win. I swear you can't go wrong when a lot of people play as kamikazes in their planes! I had to jump off a hill because a guy and his plane flew straight at me. Intense indeed. I play a couple rounds of it when I'm bored but it's pretty much Battlefield.

Well now let's get into the good stuff. While in Malaysia, I was Xboxless and the PC sucked and I barely gamed. But due to my trusty PS1 which I owned since the launch of the PS2 I played a few games which either sucked, or were okay.

Men in Black The Series: Crashdown:

MIB Okay this game sucked. Lol the controls were weird… I only played this game up to when I got the Noisy Cricket. The left stick controls you moving forward and backward BUT also controls you turning when you push it horizontally. And the right stick controls your strafing when pushing it horizontally and aiming your weapon vertically. I was like waaahh? And soon I got a bit used to it but still my reaction was slow. The level design was pretty okay imo, ammo isn't much of a problem due to the fact that there are machines that give you full ammo for a certain weapon. The aliens are ugly but still kinda freaky and the weird controls didn't make it any easier.

Spiderman 2: Enter: Electro:

SPIDEY 2 This game was okay. Now I heard this game was one of the best Spiderman games of all time? Well it is okay. The city is pretty awesome to run around in although I only played like two levels… You can't touch the floor, because there is no floor it's just an empty abyss. Web slinging or whatever you call it is just like how most Spiderman games are. It has like hidden costumes and some kinda fun training mode! The enemies are all the same the same dual wielding guy that resembles Duke Nukem. But still, you can use your web in awesome ways and combine them with your melee attacks are just pretty intense.

Medal of Honor: Underground:

MON This game was just hmm… The game had the same control problem as in Men in Black. Well now I don't even think it's actually a control problem now. Just outdated controls because maybe FPS games on the PS1 had a control scheme like that? Anyways, for a PS1 title, this game looks pretty good! I didn't take this game seriously so when I died, I stopped playing. Weapon handling was mediocre, I could barely see the crosshair and I don't know… I died once coz I blew up my own grenade.

Sims Theme Park:

SIMS This game was fairly decent. Lol it's a Sims game so just imagine Sims City but you're creating theme parks with rides, shops, sideshows and such. You have to manage the ticket prices, hire staff like mechanics, guards and entertainers. The person who teaches you all these tricks is a talking exclamation mark. Yes he is the most annoying character I've ever met. What's worst is sometimes when he starts talking, the game pauses! And he pops up at random times to say stuff he's said before! His jokes aren't even funny. Man that exclamation mark is annoying But this game provides various themes where you can build parks and to unlock new themes you need Gold Tickets which are earned through various ways. Pretty decent, but nothing special.

Digimon: Rumble Arena:

DIGIMON A very very mediocre game. There are different Digimon all in their basic stage? And its fighter with very basic attacks. Square is a basic melee attack, triangle is a special more powerful attack and circle is the long range attack. And well that's all you need to no. There's no depth to it, no combos or anything cool. There's no weakness or any thought put into it. But this game is still kinda fun for people not into fighting games much.

Digimon World 3:

TEEEE Hmmm Pokemon anyone? Well pretty much like the Pokemon games. The story is you're a kid playing a huge MMO or something. You star off picking a set team of Digimon and pretty much like the Pokemon games from then on. You will do lots of backtracking and just running and it does some weird thing where there's boxes blocking the view of the area surrounding you until you walk in that direction. I've played through it halfway I think… And when all your Digimon are knocked out, your done the game restarts. Or you load an old save. Which is pretty annoying.

Metal Slug X:

YEEE This arcade side-scrolling shooter is just win. Being an arcade shooter, you can finish the game in one sitting but it's still really fun to play with awesome weapons, funny enemies, epic boss battles and genius vehicles! I played through it with my brother many times it's just an awesome arcade game that is just fun to pick up and play.

Strikers 1945:

STRI Another arcade game which is just plain old fun. This game is a top view, 2D shooter involving planes, bombs and huge butt bosses. You pick a plane and you can play with a friend and just go through the mission avoiding rounds of bullets by groups of enemy planes while spamming the bullets on them. At the end of each mission there will be a boss which are vehicles of some kind cept the last one. But they're huge, kinda hard, and cheat. But this game is just fun and can be finished in one very short sitting.

I played a lot more but they were either so terrible or they didn't interest me at all. One of those games was My Disney's Kitchen. I do not know why I have it.

Well in other news, I got 3000 forums posts now! Celebrate! Woohoo! Okay now shut up. I think I leveled up, now I'm lvl 26: Cyber Lip which is a futuristic shooter from SNK inspired by Contra on the Neo Geo. How old…

In the reviews section I got my FALLOUT 3 review DONE. CHECK IT OUT. Rate it helpful coz I worked hard on it, and it is one of my longer reviews. And also I deleted some of my really old reviews coz man, they were terrible! They sucked. If you want a quick laugh, go ahead and read my crappy Age of Empire 3 review. Its very short and I'll keep that review for comedic purposes of my foolish youth

Anyways next blog is going to be on DEMOS. Coz I played lots of them! Ranging from 360 game demos like Ghostbusters an Wet to XBLA games like Shadow Complex and Splosion Man. And also, some impressions on Indie Games like Miner Dig Deep and I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMB1ES!!!1

I'm gonna play some RE5 which I borrowed before school starts in two days… Sigh… Catcha next time!

You sure made it sound like you're 50 year old man................until you said "school"...LOL, anyway dude I've read your review about AoE and rate it for you even though you don't like it anymore. I still think Fallout 3 is ripped from Oblivion though the game play is completely different some of it still the same I mean the sword swing the same way, I'm afraid by playing it it will ruin Oblivion for me and for that I didn't buy it but maybe in the future I will.

Can't say I have played those PS1 games but I did have a lot fun with Metal Slug. Its gameplay has held up pretty well and I still play it from time to time.
