Did I just lose four points on my TV.com percentage, or am I seeing things?

I finally got my iPod to load photos, after many tries in which I had problems and couldn't get it to work right. So that's a relief.

I'm watching "Ninja Warrior" now. It's pretty good. I'm a bit more into "The Unbeatable Banzuke."

I requested a mail-in ballot, and today I wrote down my votes for all the categories, from president to local offices. Let's not argue about the contents --I'm just happy I got it over with.

I found a library book I thought I'd lost. Yay! I didn't get to watch a couple of the shows I'd downloaded from the county library's website, because the files were timed to expire at a certain point. Oops. Well, the nice thing about the neat video player that they have is that you can just request it again. Now you don't have to shlep to the place and actually get a video. They beam it to you through the magic of your computer. The Internet is run by elves, isn't it?

Just a quick hello. See you soon. Thanks.

Hello, today we had the adjustment of the cable channels that our network, FIOS, had been promising for a long time. They switched all the station numbers, added a bunch of things and generally confused the heck out of everybody. Thank goodness I didn't have to reprogram my favorites into the remote-- the system took care of the new numbers for the list itself. Still, when I'm flipping through the other channels, I don't know what's going on. I liked things the way they were-- Verizon could have just put all the new stations at the end of the old list. I guess that was too easy.

We also had a giant rainstorm, so bad that it woke me up. My poor dog was scared as anything. She was quivering on the couch with my Mom and Dad. She got a little better once the storm quieted down. T.V. and cookies will help anybody.

I'm writing this on my laptop Compaq. I'm trying to get more used to it. Wonder how much it costs to add memory, if you can do that to these things... anyhow, I'll see you soon.

Deja Vu
This movie starts off in a promising way, and then it just gets silly. The five-day camera thing is a little hard to take as it is. Then it turns into an excuse to ogle a woman in her house for ten minutes. We don't need for this movie to be so...

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D
Not bad. Seems to fall victim to the "everything has to be blue or green" school of cinematography, though to be fair, I didn't see it with 3-D glasses. I loved the original novel, and the first movie was good too. This movie may not be...

Negadon: The Monster from Mars
Beautiful animation is the highlight of this short but dramatic story. Humans have headed to space, but something has made a return trip. Negadon, the monster of the title, is here to do a little sightseeing. Humans must race to conquer the beast...

Flyboys
This wartime drama had a number of good fight scenes, and it is unusual these days to see old-fashioned pilot battles; but there are moments when the writing is a bit thin, and it's hard to believe the actors. I'm being a little generous with the...

National Treasure: The Book of Secrets
Fun summer-type adventure film that is lacking in a few different ways, but makes for a decent cartoonish style of storytelling. I love adventure novels and the old-school mystery flicks. This film takes a cue from those elements, and adds what is...
