Just thought I should update with a new entry, just to let you know I'm not dead =P
Life stuff: I had my big comeback on school last Thursday, after three weeks of being sick.It went okay, but I can't brag about my form being spectacular =P I managed to catch up quickly to most of the stuff I've been falling behind on (since one of the weeks I was sick was a vacation week, I didn't miss that much, luckily), and I took a Science test on Friday, the subject being Ecology. It went fairly well, so I'll be surprised if I don't haul in another A. I had an Electronics test today too, which the others had last Wednesday, and it's the same with that one too; I'll be surprised if I don't get an A.
Also, during the weekend the community band (that's the adult version of school band if you didn't know) I play in had a concert, with lots of practice beforehand. It was really fun, and especially since we had some other people performing during the actual concert as well. The local Ten Sing (beat it up on Wikipedia if you don't know what it is) group had various performances, with great songs, funny dancing and one absolutely hilarious sketch. And they had this really funny guy as the compere; he's the kind of person that makes you laugh no matter what you say =P If you're interested, here's the concert programme:
Indiana Jones theme music
Springdans
You Raise me Up (w/ singer)
Ten Sing performance
Les Miserables theme music
Hallelujah I Love Her So (w/ singer)
Performance by a really talented 16-year old guitarist/singer
Fantasie on a Danish Theme
RECOMMENDED: Bergensiana (this song is really great! It's just a bunch of variations over my city's "city anthem", Udsigter fra Ulriken (aka. "Bergenssangen", "Bergensiana", "Nystemten". Listen to the original first: LINK)
Pinchcliffe Grand Prix Medley
Anime: Still haven't watched much anime lately, though I decided to re-watch Elfen Lied. Despite being a depraved mess of blood, gore, nudity, cousin love, cruelty of all kinds imaginable and whatnot, it's one really great series. And seeing how the only time I've watched it before was during the night one Monday in spring, I decided to re-watch it. Oh, and the Bleach fillers are over! Finally! Not that they were bad, but now we can finally get back to the canon storyline and all the epic win it has from this point out. Just hope it's done well in the anime too =D And the new OP and ED themes were cool, but nothing really special.
Football: Many things have happened to Brann (the city's premier division team) lately. It all builds around the bad performance this season, and whether or not their coach ahs done a good enough job. It ended with him resigning his position last week. Even though he has led them to bronze, silver and gold in the league as well as gold in the cup during the 6 years he's been their coach, he had to go now. That stinks. Though, if the players have lost their faith in him, what is there to do? Oh, well. At least he'll be the coach until the end of the current season, which is good, because most coaches are fired on the spot when their career in a club is over. ... Now I just hope they'll find a good coach for next year's season. Later, folks!

Three weeks? o_o You're better now, right? That's great! And I'm glad you have a lot of self-confidence about tests.
I got a 53% on my Algebra quiz this week.
It only had three questions, so...
Haha... No straight A's this nine weeks. -_-
Sounds like a fun concert. And I like the Bergensiana song. Honestly. =) It's calming background music.
Elfen Lied again.
Haha... you know, I would finish it, if only I could watch anime in my room. It's too scary watching it in my parents' room. o_o I had to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure my bro wasn't sneaking in or my dad showing up out of nowhere. But they're not stealthy like I am.
I can hear their footsteps half way across the house. xP
You know... if I had all the time in the world, I would watch Bleach.
If I ever get my own computer (that isn't 12 years old) with internet, I'd be watching anime all the time.
I need to get into sports eventually.
Hehe...

Three weeks is a long time to be sick. I'm sorry, Espen-kun...but at least you're feeling better now! Great grades, congrats on the band stuff, and Bleach not being on fillers has filled my heart with youthful glee (or at least something less stagnant than what's been in there.)

Stitch- Okay. Seriously? I think I'm watching 5-6 series right now and I'm doing decently fine (there are other reasons for me not watching much lately) =P
Cathy- Yeah, somewhat. I'm still only 90 %, but that's more than enough for school and work and everything.
ow... that's too bad. You almost did it, though =D
That's good =P
Ah. Lucky me; I've got a room in the attic, so I can easily her when someone's coming up... really useful when I'm doing something I don't want anyone to find out about =P BTW, How many episodes did you watch previously?
Hmmm... sports, eh? I've been considering it for some time, but I've found out that I'm better off exercising by myself. Well, I might try athletics once; I'm pretty good there, and it's fun. But school and community band takes up too much time -_-
YM- It is indeed. Well, at least I wasn't sick in a half-dead-veggie kind of way =P
Thanks, and I do agree with you. And I just can't wait for episode 192 (doubt Leon can either) =D

Sounds like it was an interesting concert. And I haven't seen Elfen Lied I might check into that at some future date I have a lot of other shows on my plate right now lol.

Aw, that's even cooler! I forgot you said your room was in the attic.
That's awesome. And.... I think I got to episode 7... *checks MAL* Yeah, I stopped after epi 6.
Oh that's right, too. I originally meant watching sports, but playing sports is something I should definately consider, too. xP

Welcome back!!! I plan to watch Elfen Lied, but I haven't got past the first episode. I was watching Bleach, but then it got to the spoiler episodes, so I gave up on it. Now that it's back to the storyline, I guess I'll try to get caught up!!! I didn't know I was so far behind!!!

I haven't watched much anime over the past several months. Just the weekly Bleach updates. I didn't like the non-existent transition between the filler and the new HM arc. Little disappointed with the first ep. Gotta love me some Elfen Lied, though. What instrument do you play???

Great grades my friend. Hope you are doing well. Some of the music I have heard and some I haven't. Peace my friend!

You sure do well in school. I don't think I'd do that well if I had to catch up then write a test.

I have recently fallen in complete love with Bleach. I hope you truly are feeling better. 3 weeks sick is a long time but I know what it's like. I get sick easily. Good luck with band. I'm sure y'all sound great.
