I Almost Got Hit By A Car, My Friend Did.

Today I was walking from McDonalds, Crossing the street, when all my friends and I were hanging out. A driver in a van waves us across the street, so we all sprint across. A police car with its sirens off sped through the red light in pursuit of a criminal. My friend Abby was hit by the car, which at the time was going 40-50mph. I was 3 feet away from the car. Abby broke her leg, hip, and has a concussion, and a mild neck sprain. I was crying when It happened, I feel so blessed that I wasn't hit.
