Cheers!
I've finally reached Level 8! Only 0.03% in, but it's out of Level 7 which is all I care about. It took forever to get through that! I heard Level 20 is the worst though, that it can take up to 3 months to trudge your way through that one. Yeesh. . .
In gaming news: I found my PS1 and PS2 games the other day! My brother and I thought they had all gone missing somehow, but they were just on a shelf out at camp. WOOT! I can finally play Crash Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Tony Hawks 3 & Underground and Spyro the Dragon again! But first? I just bougth Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2, which I can't play until I am done Ratchet & Clank. Gaming is so hard! *^_^*
Cheers!
I've finished the storyline in Lego Star Wars, but the game was still only 55% finished! So, I've been working through each level in freeplay mode to collect all of the red bricks, Lego cannisters and get True Jedi in my Lego-Stud collecting! That's right, only TRUE Jedi's (is the plural for Jedi just. . . Jedi?) can collect more than 40,000 in each level! PAPHEW! That was the noise the game makes when I achieve True Jedi Status! WOOT!
Lego Star Wars is the exact difficult I enjoy. Some may call it stupidly easy, but the placement of the cannisters is the most challanging part since they can be in places only certain characters can reach. The only reason the levels take so long is because I am obsessed with breaking EVERYTHING and collecting the studs. It's impossible to actually get Game Over or die, really. You get 4 hearts, and when they are done you smash to pieces, loose 1050 studs and then reappear! Once you do so you can pick up the 1100 studs you dropped (which is really just one blue stud worth 1000 and one yellow worth 50) and carry on. It's more inconvenient than harmful to your game but I like it that way!
I have over 2,000,000 studs right now, and I really want to buy General Grievous for 800,000 studs but I can't yet! i want to see how many I can collect by the end of the game, then I will buy awesome characters! Maybe even cheat and get unlimited studs, but ONLY when I am actually done the game.
I still have yet to start playing Minish Cap (the one I got off eBay was a bootleg, so my friend gave me his) but I am trying to play one game on one system at a time. Ratchet & Clank on PS2, Lego Star Wars on DS and sort of Ocarina of Time on N64. I may jus restart that though, because I haven't played in awhile and I'm stuck -- I need to kill 10 golden skulltulas to get a larger wallet, to buy what I need to move forward. . . but I don't know which ones I have and haven't killed. Maybe I'll just retrace my steps because I have only killed 7 or 8.
When I think about it I guess Minish Cap would technically be another system since it's a GBA game, but since I'd be playing it on my DS I consider it a DS game(ish).
Off I go to collect more Lego. Cheers!
I've sort-of finished Super Mario 64 DS. I've beaten Bowser, peace is restored to the castle, but the game is not 100% complete until I have all 150 stars. I only have 91. . . and I haven't even found the Wario key yet, which I need to retrieve most of the stars I've yet to find. At any rate, I am sort of done and for now have moved onto finishing Chocobo Tales, which I began a long time ago. It took a few minutes for me to remember how the card battle system worked, but now I'm doing pretty well in battle.
The other day I went to the newer EB Games in town with no intention of buying anything. . . I was just going to look around and waste some time before watching my new Sweeney Todd DVD with a few friends. However, the guy behind the counter started talking to me and asking what kind of games I was into, then he gave me a free Phantom Hourglass poster for being a "newbie" to their store. I began to realize that I'd feel very bad for leaving the store not having purchased anything (which was probably his plan all along) so I ended up with Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. The guy behind the counter told me it'd be neat if I left with Phantom Hourglass, but I already own it.
I'm excited about it, since LSWII was my first game for DS and was so glitchy that I had to bring it back. . . but I told myself I couldn't start a new gam until I finished the ones I started. Minus Superstar Saga, it can wait a bit longer.
I never did beat Bowser in Super Princess Peach, so I have to do that. I think most of the other games I have have been beaten, save for Pokemon Diamond but I may start that one anew some other time because I have no idea where I left off.
Then after Super Princess Peach I can finally play Lego Star Wars
Cheers!
