As a sci-fi movie is great, it never gets boring and the plot developts at the right speed, enough of everything...

It has a great start, good sci-fi movie... at least the first 30 mins, then it goes down very fast.

It was hard to give it a 3 stars, but whatever, cuz its a little above of an average movie. Most of the time it isnt funny at all.

The movie is quite interesting but I couldnt stop seeing how stupid the plot was, I cant recommend this even for kids.

As skater he is a little above average, but as comedy guy sucks very baddly because he is sticked on the same jokes.

The movie barely had its so-so jokes, but all was based on super wasted jokes, this movie is like those (bad) amateur movies but all looks like expensive crap.

It was a good movie if you like anime, yet inthe anime movie world it doesnt stand well enough and end being in a bad movie from good tv series.

This special is the best in DB special, the plost is good and w/out needing of extended fight scenes. A must for any anime fan.

Just another more from the DB movies, now this is for fans to death, the plot isnt that great, but the action was quite good yet the same from the tv series.

Even if its develoment is kinda irregular, its a classic comedy from Adam Sandler, from the best he has done. A movie to enjoy in company of you family or friends.

An average comedy, this movie may be for the actors "just a job" cuz it doesnt have a compliacted plot and never has a great ending, some jokes are good enough, watch it when it gets aired on tv or borrow it.

I havent watched the original version, but this one is up to the challenge as it nowdays version. Original Jokes and the expected acting from Jim Carrey.

Original comedy, the jokes are kinda unexpected until its about to happen. Very good script and concept, a must see comedy from the last decade...

May be the best comedy movie of Jim Carrey, totally amazing and original. There isnt a comedy movie nowdays as good as this one.

Interesting movie to the very end. Everything is well done, based in an original concept. Recommendable even as a buy. A great drama (and a little of comedy) movie for all the family.

The dub version really sucks with that extra music added and the bad conversion in voices.
The movie itself wasnt that good, any DB movie is... this movies are two shortand because of that it gets kinda senseless, still a must for fans.

The only good in this movie is the history, which wasnt well addapted to a two hours movie, and the animations of Ryuk... everything else can be called crap.
You need to be a fan of the anime and/or manga of this series to watch it and...

Making an a wide review of the bad stuff: The acting sucks, very overacted plus the actors didnt made a good job with their roles, the history has holes, kinda bothersome, and the worst could be... yes, they deleted from this movie all those smarts talks which make the manga and anime so popular, and if there is a little of it... it doesnt sound like one thanks to the acting.

Maybe a just one time in life experience for normal people and for fans of Death Note.

Could have done better as a mini tv series.
