A full description of the awards can be found here.
In biblical circles, it is well known that 'seven' is the perfect number. Of all the words at my disposal to describe Week 7 in the Pick em league, 'perfection' would not be even near the top of the list. The first word, the only word that comes to mind is 'ugly.' Awards not given out this week include the Guiding Light, A Team, Doogie, Buckeye or Homer.
FRASIER

Our league commissioner, 123home123, continues his steady climb in the standings by posting a stellar 11-2 mark this week for his first Frasier.
MEATHEAD

BuskieBoy and me both know the view from the bottom and so here we are again at 7-6. The question remains, which of us will take a better stab at next week's Bobby Ewing Award?
HANK HILL

One of Hank's greatest strengths is his stability and rock solid commitment to playing it safe and not rocking the boat. This strategy workd like a charm for 123home123 as there were but two upsets. 11-2 will garnish big dividends every time.
BOBBY EWING

The Graphers (tuckgraph) gained back his respectability going from 6 to 9 wins.
VAN DYKE

Once again I am forced to award myself the dubious trophy for showing poor judgment. My usual nemesid, the late afternoon games bit me on the backside, losing 4 out of 5.
WOJO

The big shocker this week wasn't anything that happened on the field of play - it's that the first and third place leaders in our league somehow didn't get their picks logged on. Finalsequel (Bobby) and Fireballil's Team are always at or near the top of the leaderboard, Hope all is well with you guys. Last year RevBucky (not playing this year) swore that a Yahoo glitch cost him his picks. One wonders if a similar fate befell any of the three Wojo winners this week. The lucky benefactors of course are priest=Aura (jokipper), Momo of the Winter (El Paquillo Loco) and others near the top of the heap. Oh yeah, tvfanatic91 once again missed getting in his picks.
GILLIGAN

ALL 7 who backed Favre and the Vikings against Big Ben and the Steelers had victory in their grasp until Keyaron Fox intercepted the Mississippi farmer and returned it 82 yards. Sherasbear picked up her third Gilligan this year but this time brought along company including BuskieBoy, Better Late Than Never (NYBrian120), bouges13, Priest=Aura (jokipper) NYGBRIAN246 and The Graphers.
Thank you for coming back again for another round of the LESTERS. This is Les Nessman....
Please excuse me, there is one more thing.
COLUMBO

The Arizona Cardinals are a perfect 3-0 on the road this year, attracting deserved attention from many within the NFL and the media. And yet, only one of the 23 in our league has correctly picked each of those games. The Columbo is thus awarded to NYGBRIAN246.

Comments
T'was a BRUTAL week weren't it? Had I caught on that the Bills had made a QB change, I very well might have taken them. How I missed that I'll never know.
