A full description of the awards can be found here.
A bit more motivated to get the awards posted this week than last and if you are reading this, you probably already know why by now, unless you are not part of the league (m00nshadow). No awards this week for the Homer, Gilligan, Buckeye, Wojo or Guiding Light.
FRASIER AWARD

Four of us share top honors this week, going 10-4. Now this is what I'm talking about. Joining me at the top of the heap are bowling255, our commissioner 123home123 and NYGBRIAN246. An interesting aside is the absence of any of the frontrunners. In fact, of the four, I am the only one in the top ten of the league. As stated before, The LESTERS do not recognize tie-breakers.
MEATHEAD AWARD

It was not that tvfanatic91 made all that many stinky pics, just that he missed the games we all missed and the few risks taken just didn't work out. No breaks earned a 5-9 record for the week.
BOBBY EWING AWARD

As was the case in previous weeks, whenever one gets the Meathead one week and then grabs a Frasier the next, this award is practically in the bag. Thus the award this time comes to lil ol me, Les Nessman, News Beacon of the Ohio Valley.
A TEAM

Only bowling255 surmised that Donavan McNabb and his Eagles weren't up to the task of playing the Raiders in Oakland, which is one reason he did so well this week. He did miss the Jets game however but then again, didn't we all?
HANK HILL AWARD

Some weeks it pays to play it safe, but this wasn't necessarily one of them. Kegtown Compulsive Gamblers (mp34mp) goes 8-6 for the second consecutive week. Is it just me or is it kind of ironic for this award to be given to someone with "Gamblers" in their name?
DOOGIE AWARD

Who would have thought that between Josh Johnson of the Bucs and Mark Sanchez of the Jets, that Johnson would have come closer to pulling out a win? Well, neither did but the bloom seems to have fallen off of Wonder Boy's rose. Refusing to abandon the kids this week were The Graphers (tuckgraph), Priest=Aura (jokipper), tvfanatic91 and a couple of us who have already grabbed trophies in two other categories bowling255 and News Beacon of the Ohio Valley.
VAN DYKE AWARD

The Graphers gets it this week for going 0-4 in the 4:00 hour on Sunday, including blowing the 59-0 utter annihilation of the hapless Titans against the Brady Machine. Tuck has taken it on the chin the last couple of weeks but there is plenty of time to right the ship.
Well, thanks for tuning in this week to see who won a LESTER. Your support means a gret deal, so this is Les.....
Excuse me, just one more thing if you don't mind...
COLUMBO AWARD

The Baltimore Ravens started out so promising at 3-0 but have since evened out their record by going 0-3. Only OchoSucko was not 'suckered' in, winning those three games the Ravens lost. The rest of us took at least one sip of the Ravens kool-ade.
Didn't get the standings up last time so here they are. Bobby maintains his over-all lead with jokipper nipping at his heels.
This is Les Nessman saying 'Good day and may the Good News be yours!"
