A full description of the awards can be found here.
With byes starting up already this week, the Pick 'em scores were bound to dip but that did not happen this week. Consider the combined record of the league in Week Two was 191-177. The league's production in Week Four with two fewer games was 230-92. I went for more upsets than there were and finished the week at 9-5 and find myself in the middle of the pack overall. No awards given out this week for the Homer, Buckeye, Wojo or A-Team.
FRASIER AWARD
OchoSucko (Marwash) gets bragging rights this week and deservedly so going 13-1, missing just the Miami win over Buffalo. Bryan is the second player in just four weeks to have earned both a Frasier and a Meathead award. Oh the roller coaster of emotions in this league.
MEATHEAD AWARD

Andy Warhol said everyone sooner or later will enjoy 15 minutes of fame. Bowling255, here are your 15 minutes. He will have to make room on his mantle for three LESTERS, starting with one he knew he'd get the day he clicked on his choices because bowling255 chose the underdog in every game and so he ends up at 3-11. perhaps he was going for the A Team award and got carried away. It happens. It's rare but it happens.
DOOGIE AWARD

Let's go ahead and get bowling255's other awards covered. There were three QB's considered more or less rookies starting on Sunday; Sanchez, Stafford and now Josh Johnson for Tampa Bay tho he has been around a couple years in a non-starting role. All three lost. But due to his unorthodox s.t.y.l.e of play, bowling255 wins.
GILLIGAN AWARD

Not an exceptional week for thrilling finishes. I was really pulling for Flacco to pull a Manning or Favresque rabbit out of the hat in that final drive but the Patriot defense was able to hold on. The closest game to change hands toward the end of regulation was the Bengals and Browns. Cleveland had the lead but Palmer and mates scored a touchdown to tie it at around the 2 minute warning so for the only one who picked Cleveland, bowling255 gets his third award, the Gilligan.
BOBBY EWING AWARD
The Elevator Man (Shall we start calling him Otis?) turns around his 7-9 score from last week, going 10-4 this time around and no one else really came close so congratulations BuskieBoy. Maybe this will make your photobucket troubles seem less frustrating.
GUIDING LIGHT AWARD

Momo of the Winter (El Paquillo Loco) isn't the only one to score double digits in the first four weeks but he is the most consistent, scoring at least 11 in three of the four contests.
HANK HILL AWARD

Not a bad week for playing it safe. Only three 'upsets' according to Yahoo's oddsmakers so Priest=Aura (jokipper) and IndianaMom each go 11-3 this week. For Kip it keeps the overall first place tie intact and for MOM, it earns her a LESTER for the first time this season. But I know she's aching for a Frasier.
VAN DYKE AWARD

I sure wasn't aching for one of these but it seemed kind of silly to give bowling this award for his little stunt picks so I award this dubious honor to myself for going 0-4 for the season in the Denver games. I even picked Cleveland the week they hooked up. I deserve this award. But not News Beacon of the Ohio Valley alone. Picking up her first LESTER of the year is Brandi1leigh who apparently has no more respect or confidence in the Broncos than I do.
OK that does it for Week Four. This is Les....
Oh, just one more thing....
COLUMBO AWARD

Historically I lose most of my games in the 4:00 pm slot. Don't ask me why. Four games started in the 4:00 pm slot this week and I managed an anemic 2-2 showing. Only one in our league swept all four games and that person is fishzone (Fish's Somewhat Accurate Picks).
This is Les Nessman saying, 'May the Good News be yours."

Comments
It's surprising that the Titans are now 0-4, but I'm even more surprised that the Broncos beat the Cowboys. Orton is giving them about what I expected, but I never would have guessed that the Denver defense would totally turn things around from last year and make them a team not to be taken lightly.
I was so upset when Mark Clayton dropped two passes by Flacco that could have won the game! Ugh!!! I hate the Patriots!
I want to earn a Frasier though. Hopefully this week.
