Kyle Katarn vs Dig Dug: Kyle Katarn/Kyle Katarn
Lara Croft vs Parappa: Lara Croft/Lara Croft
Coud vs Lester: Cloud/Cloud (I want Lester to win, Out of This World was a great game that I played a lot of as a kid, but I knew he didn't have a chance, I voted for him though)
Wright vs Little Mac: Wright/Little Mac (I would have had LM for my bracket but I had no idea who he was when I made it amd forgot to check, I still want Wright to win....I really don't see how being a boxer, football player, Kratos, Niko, Dig Dug, Frogger, Pikachu, or pac man makes you a hero, a cIassic game character but not a hero, especially Pikachu who does nothing heroic in the games and isn't even the same one as the anime)
Pikachu vs Nathan Drake: Nathan Drake/Pikachu (I thought Drake would win with the new game coming out and the popularity of the first and Pikachu getting older and even though tons of people played the game Pikachu was not likely to be a favorite for most people, especially with Pokemon Red and Blue coming out before Yellow, guess I was wrong. I voted for Nathan, I liked him, and I always prefered Charmander to Pikachu. I don't even know what we are voting for with this. It can't be the anime Pikachu since this is for games, even though that is the only heroic Pikachu. Is it the one we get in Yellow? Is it the one we find in other versions? Is it whatever version we use? Since all Pikachus are called Pikachu are we voting for all Pikachus in the Pokemon world? I don't get it and there is no way Pikachu should be considered a hero, you don't even have to use him in the games, not even in Yellow after you get your first capture. Pikachu really should have been replaced with the Pokemon Trainer character)
Sam Fisher vs Kratos: Kratos/Kratos (I hate Kratos, voted for Sam)
Guybrush vs Wander: Guybrush/Wander (I thought with the number of people that played SotC to any game in the Monkeys Island series that Guybrush was very likely to win, especially with him in some of the greatest adventure games of all time, in comparison to Wander's one. I remember playing and loving the first Monkeys Island when I was a kid. Two new games just came out in the MI series even. Guess I was wrong though. I want Guybrush to win)
Ryu vs Abe: Ryu/Ryu
Niko vs The Apprentice: The Aprentice/Niko (Niko sucks!)
Strider vs Cate: Strider/Strider (I never played either series, but I heard great things about the In Harms Way games, but I didn't think she would win, especially with Stirder in recent games like TvsC)
Liu Kang vs Yoshi: Yoshi/Yoshi (I hate Mortal Kombat and Yoshi is so cute)
Gordan vs Bomberman: Gordan/Gordan
Alucard vs Travis: Travis/Alucard (Damn, I thought all the Wii fans would make Travis win and with all the people saying how great Shadow Complex is I thought for sure that no one played or remember SotN. Of course, Travis doesn't deserve to win and I voted for Alucard)
Snake vs Crash: Snake/Snake
So I am losing five and winning 11, I can't believe I forgot who Little Mac was. I expect to do better in the second part of this round. Although I have no idea how Kirby/Pacman (I of course went with Kirby), Marcus/Leon (Marcus also sucks),or Jak/Fox (I took Jak due to that series still going strong and not having a great SF game since the N64). will go. All of my losing characters I had losing the next round, and I still expect the character that is beating them to lose in the next round, with the exception of Nathan Drake who I had winning one more time. The last time I checked Guybrush, Nathan, and The Apprentice still had a chance to win. Not likely for the other two.
Why does Wander have such a terrible picture? The other character seem to have a picture that they would have on their games boxart, manual, or a fan made drawing. Wander looks like he has some far off, in game low res screenshot.

The only one that really ticks me off is Sam, I've got him going 2 more rounds before beaing taken out

but nevertheless... Kratos will win, he has one of the biggest fan bases!!! just like master chief, cloud, and snake! Guys how can you actually think that sam fisher is gonna win against him? hes not a really strong character, i mean in terms of personality... whats the difference between him and Altair? but Kratos is the most unique character on that panel, cause hes the only one whos actually not a HERO! (Evil minded)
I selected Cloud, I don't know who Lester is, but I did give him a pity vote. I gave alot of pity votes actually....
Little Mac, I knew he'd win because in a way he is heroic. He comes up from nothing to win everything. He's like Rocky from the first Rocky, just without a story.
Pikachu VS Nathan Drake. I honestly thought Drake would win, and for the same reason you did too.
Fisher VS. Kratos, I knew Kratos would win, I just didn't expect a landslide.
I thought GuyBrush would win too, but I got that one wrong too.
I can't believe a babe like Cate Archer with that fantastic FPS series is LOSING TO A CYBORG NINJA DOG THING-MAN!!!!
Alucard VS. Travis- I selected Alucard to win over Travis, because I knew that no one with a Wii has played No More Heroes. They're all losers who whine about no hardcore games and then don't buy them. I kinda wish Travis did win, but then again, Travis is a killer while Alucard killed Dracula. That was the deciding factor for me.
However, there are a few that I like. Alucard VS. Travis (not the percentages, but I did find it excruciating to choose one), Fisher VS. Kratos, Pikachu VS. Drake, Wander VS Guybrush (it's actually close!) and Kirby VS. Pacman. But Duke Nukem VS. Marcus Fenix is shaping up to be a cool one. I want to see if people favor the classics or the new kid. Either way, I don't see either character making it to the final, but I did select Marcus to beat Duke. That's the one that I think will be a heartbreaker for some. Kirby VS Pacman should be a close call too. More match-ups like that, less like Mario and Bonk.
