Batman Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition
I bought the game yesterday and have been really enjoying it. As much as I enjoyed Batman Returns and Batman and Robin for the Snes, this is the first Batman game where you actually feel like Batman and where you get an interesting story and setting. I'm up to the part where I am trying to find Killer Croc. As much as I hate puzzles I have been having fun trying to find the answers to The Riddler's questions (240 of them total I think), the riddlesmixed with the games detective moments and vision mode make this the first Batman game that shows off what makes Batman Batman, as well as having fun and fast combat. Finding recordings of inmate interviews, answers to The Riddler, and information files on many characters in the Batman universe, make this one of the few games where I want to explore.
It doesn't look like some popular characters like Two Face and The Iceman will be in the game but you are able to find their cells, as well as the cells of other Batman villains. So far the characters they do have seem to add a lot to the game. The Joker and Harley tauting you the whole way, Poison Ivy changing up the environment, The Scarecrow has had some great moments that show off the atmosphere in the game, and while The Riddler doesn't make an appearence he talks to you about his riddles and makes comments when you solve them. I still haven't found all of the characters yet but so far the only one that wasn't that interesting was Bane, who was really only there for an important story element and a quick boss battle, even though he himself really didn't do anything but say a line or two.
Great game so far, I haven't played any of the challenge maps yet.
I just reached level 58 and I am now Death=Adder, I also recently passed 11,000 posts.
