Welcome to my profile. I've been playing video games since I was three, pretty much nonstop, even though I rarely find a game that I really enjoy. I usually don't enjoy playing video games unless they have a good story or have co-op, although I have somehow still managed to get achievement crazy on my 360. I think some guys at Bungie said it best while describing playing CTF on Halo 2 and you are killed a second before scoring, you hate it but you also love it and when it's over you want to do it again. The only difference is that now, I want to do it again and again and again to get those damn achievements.

Upcoming games that I might/will buy. I probably will not get all of them, me adding them here just means that I am interested in the game, but not so much so that I will buy it even if it is getting bad reviews everywhere. Text in ( ) is to remind me where I preordered it or if I still need to

So, when I was young I really liked the Sonic games for the Genesis as well as the Sonic Archie comics. Lately Sonic games haven't been doing very well, from what I've seen of the new one I am also not impressed. They seem to be against making a good old school 2D Sonic game, which worked out well for Mega Man recently. Because they don't seem willing to go back to that and have instead been adding making some bad changes to the games (Shadows guns and likely the Warhog) and an RPG with what looks to be an average review score around a 6.5. I've thought of a new idea for them that may actually work well. Make a Sonic game with the characters and story taken from the Archie comics and make the gameplay like Marvel: Ulltimate Alliance.

If you didn't play Marvel or Legend this proably won't make much sense.

The way some of the characters are could make a great four player beat em up game if it plays like the Marvel UA or X-Men Legends games. You would have Sonic who could have spinning attacks, a speed buff, a buff to make him super sonic, and he can take Wolverines rage meter and turn into the Warhog when it fills. Knuckles can be a heavy hitter with punches and throws but could also use his shoes to glide in the air, climb walls, and have a buff to make him hyper knuckles. Tails could fly and use gadgets he builds to fight. Shadow could be fast like Soinic and pack heat like Deadpool and Nick Fury. Bunny with her robotic arms and legs could be like Mr Fantastic. Rouge could have the same kind of buffs as Spider Woman. Vector could be a heavy hitter and a status effecting character for example, he could play heavy metal music that puts nearby enemies into a rage and lowers defense. Mina could act in an opposite way, with her songs increasing ally abilities, like Cyclops and Captain America's abilities. Espio could easily be like the Black Panther with invisibility and stealth attacks. Mighty could be another heavy hitter (since they seemed so fond of them in Marvel: UA) with the radial ground attacks. Antoine could have a buff to use weapons, a sword, like Nightcrawler and Moon Knight did. Rotor could build and sell you items back at base.

...I really want the second UA to come out soon.

Also, I am now level 48. My level increased by 12% yesterday. Biggest increase I have seen in awhile.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Borrowed

Well, everyone else was making titles like that when they played Star Wars The Force Unleashed. So I was able to borrow it from a friend. It was an ok game, like I thought though, Jedi Outcast was better in every way. Except for the story which was pretty good but short and not very detailed. I liked Starkiller but he seemed like he was a too nice, he was nice even in the beginning. From how he was raised I wouldn't have expected him to act like that, not much focus on his relationship with Juno either.

After fighting (what was her name), that seemed like the least sincere apology every. She seemed like a ***** even when she was with her master. I was expecting more from that scene, like Starkiller realizing he should turn away from the dark side and helping her, instead I got her pretty much saying, "Uhhh, you don't need to kill me, because....uhhh I'm cute...uhhh the planet made me do it.....yeah that's it." "Ok, you'll have to live with what you did." What exactly did she do? I mean her Master got the planet inhabitants on the light side causing me to kill them, and then she got them on the dark side, causing me to kill them. She wasn't even needed in the story.

Gameplay was ok, nothing great. Taking down the damn destroyer luckily only took me three tries. Having to get a lock on the ties to grip them or hit them with lightning was annoying, especially doing it around five times. The enemies didn't really bother me at all like they bothered other people, lightning and air combos killed everything dead easy enough (including bosses). Maybe I just didn't mind the enemies because in action games I almost always find the enemies to be annoying, I thought this game had just as many annoying enemies as Ninja Gaiden and nowhere near as many as Devil May Cry 4 (pretty much all bosses and enemies were annoying in that game). I beat the game on the normal mode, in about two days. I got it late on the first day. It was a short game. The planets were nice but Star Wars has a big universe, I'm really getting sick of going to the same damn planets in every game. It's a shame this game did the usual planets but even worse that you have to go back to three of them later on.

My biggest disappointment is what I was always worried about. The Force Powers. The first Jedi Knight game came out in the late 90s and Jedi outcast in early 2000, those had a very good variety of powers that all had much more powerful effects when upgraded, and those games focused on force, saber, and gun combat and did all three well. The Force Unleashed doesn't do as well in either force or saber combat and leaves guns out. Then the KOTOR series came out adding even more cool powers. So with this games focus on the force it is a shame to see such few powers. Lightning is fun every now and then but compared to what Jedi can do it's boring, yet it was easily the most useful power. Lightning shield was pointless and took way too much force to get any use out of. Saber throw was fine but when you aren't cutting people in half like you are in Outcast, when fighting many enemies, you can't block when the saber is gone (and when a fighting move already lets you throw a saber through them when gripping them) it just isn't fun or practical to use. Grip would be great with a better targeting system. It's just a shame to see no powers like Mind Trick, Fear, Crush, Pain, Choke, Heal, Speed, or Pull.

The way powers were upgraded was also a shame. In the Jedi Knight series you get to spend points in what you want as the game goes on. By the end of the game everything is upgraded. Even with the small number of powers in this game I was only able to upgrade three all the way to level three and two to level two. The way many of those force points were gained was from bonus objectives and finding Jedi Holocrons, I found every one and still couldn't upgrade all my powers. I've never liked having to find items to get achievements or extras in games but having to find hidden items to upgrade my character in an action game is just annoying, especially when I don't get anywhere near the same amount of points if I choose to ignore them. Finding them takes away from the action

I really liked how they did the dark side ending. Usually for games like this when you do the evil ending it's very out of character for the person you are in control of but this time it actually seemed like an ending that could have happened.

I finally reached 75,000 gamerscore. I think I'm at 75,065 right now. What got me my last few points was the 740 achievements I got for the Force Unleashed in the two days I had it, Three of a Kind in Rainbow Six Vegas, Game Over in Duke Nukem, and Look Both Ways in Halo 3. The achievement that got me to and passed 75,000 was Game Over for 25G in Duke Nukem, for beating the last episode The Birth.

It's been awhile since I had to work hard to get an achievement, but I had to with Three of a Kind. Win three rank matches in a row on Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I was playing with a friend who is usually as good as me but everytime we joined a game we would get split up. We were playing elimination where everyone got one respawn, five on five. In the first two games my teammates were complete idiots, I had to kill almost everything myself, including my friend which I was barely able to do most of the tim. In the first two games I had six kills and seven kills. Which means I had to take out more than half of the team alone. My team died so fast that in both matches I had to kill four and five guys by myself. I ran out of ammo so much I had to take guns from the enemies I killed. In the third ranked game my friend and I finally got on the same team but he was somehow shot through a window in the first few seconds of the match and then died again soon after spawning the second time. I was able to make use of C4 that I found out they were allowing in the last match, the hard way, and was able to kill four of them with it. My team ended up all dying again except for one guy. We both survived the match together and won it, both with five kills (all but two of the kills in the game). It's nice to have help.

My file share in Halo 3 has a video of me barely getting the Look Both Ways achievements, five splatters in a row on a legendary map.

Maybe I'll start posting pictures from my Halo 3 fileshare with my blogs. I've taken some funny videos and pictures in Halo 3. The best part of the game.

Edit: I don't know why those screenshots stopped working after the first day, I guess you could just look at my file share.

Mega Man 9: $10

Downloaded this when it came out. I finished it yesterday, great game. I don't know why everyone thinks this game is so hard though, the stages were pretty easy and I think it had two of the easiest bosses ever (Splash Woman and Galaxy Man) and the ending boss (the one I usually can't beat in Mega Man games) was pretty easy. 55 achievements so far.

Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga: $35

Disk is in perfect condition and it has the box and maual. Alright
