Well.. yesterday was all about.. you guessed it, HALO3: ODST.

So I got the game around 5 yesterday and came home. First things first, I found all the skulls ON MY OWN.
Then I got on ODST with three friends and we started playing firefight then we played campaign. To make a long story short, we beat it. In about5 hours. 8pm-1am. NOW, that doesn't mean the game is short but we just were absolutely OBSESSED! Because it's so much fun!

PROS AND CONS OF ODST:

PROS

*Scope-able MAGNUM!!!!!!
*New spooky, sneaky feel to the Halo franchise
*FREAKING ADDICTING new FIREFIGHT mode that is 5x better than horde in GOW2.
*Red brute plasma rifile
*Better vehicles. EXAMPLE: Tanks are ALOT faster and banshees move ALOT slower when you don't want them to move.
*And of course.. the other disc which includes three new HALO3 maps including MIDSHIP from Halo2. And the whole multiplayer experience. It's like having another HALO3 with ODST just not the campaign.

CONS

*I didn't say it was short.. but.. it could have been longer.
*The story wasn't really anything significant. I mean.. it couldn't really be anyway.
*No Dual-weilding.
*And of course, no matchmaking for firefight. So keep your friends close. Or force them to buy the game.

ANYWAY, it was an awesome game! Should you buy it? If you're a HALO freak, YES! If you are fine with waiting for the maps to come out individually, then that's fine too, if you're ok with missing out on FIREFIGHT.

Never liked Horde. Firefight on the other hand... pure awesomeness.

And that magnum just tears through everything.

Not much of a Halo fan (sorry!) nor am I able to afford Gold at the moment (Microsoft should've had their service free of charge, but that's not stopping them from making a profit out of it). Besides, I'm hooked on LittleBigPlanet on my recently-purchased PS3 Slim (which in this case I was able to afford last week. I may not be able to buy any new PS3/360/Wii/etc. games for a while.)

Other than that, glad to hear you're enjoying ODST
