Over the past few months I realize that I am more grown up than I used to be. My first example being wrestling! I loved watching wrestling up until 2004, and would it every time it was on, then bam! I grew out it! But I would still play the smackdown series, and had every iteration of the series until this recent release of 2010. EveryFall, aroundOctober and November I would anxtiously await the release of the new smackdown game. ButnowI just dont have the need, or the want for that matter to even play the game. Before,I would be at my local walmart at 11:59 ona monday night to get the new Smackdown @ 12 am Tuesday!

And Now, another scarey realization, I dont even care about these new GTA Games that are out, Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and the Damned. I know there is this "talk" about this March being the "announcement" of GTA V, but it doesnt phase me. This wasa great series that I would die for and most likely sell my soul for just to play the game the first day of release. Although this is a great series I just dont want to play it anymore, i have had every GTA to date (as of GTA IV no episodes) even that crappy release for the gameboy advance.

Just thought I would share this with all my Gamespot Friends! Feel Free To Flame and Troll on me!

Later, Stephen!

Yes, I do! It's so depressing and so responsible! It makes me cringe

Yep it is a scary feeling when you grow out of things. I use to love buying toys so much, now I could care less. I guess move on to bigger and better things.

Hey, dude you have an opinion that doesn't mean we should flame and troll you. I sucks that you realized that your grown up now though.

You're 21. I'm about to be 21. This realization has hit me a bunch of times as well.

Don't worry...I'm 23 and it only gets worse! In a few years, I hope to have either gone insane, or shot myself...but seriously; yes, getting older does suck.

We all go through phases and grow out of things -- I'm with you on the GTA IV. I've had #3, Vice City, San Andreas and now own GTA IV. I can't see myself buying a new GTA. Geez, I only spent $20 on GTA IV -- would've never bought it if it was anymore than that.

I gave up on wrestling 6 years ago, now I got back into it.You may find it interesting again in a few years like I did.

Well, I think both SvR and GTA are less popular than they were last gen. Every time I go on Xbox Live, guess what games I see being played the most? Not GTA. Not any of those sports games. I just see Call of Duty or some other generic FPS game. I guess straight-up traditional FPS games are more popular now then Sandbox games were last gen.

If you loved wrestling that much, you will still watch it as a grown up... I stopped following it after The Rock and Stone Cold stopped wrestling but now that I'm all grown up... me and my friends go watch the PPV's at Wing House... we drink beer, eat wings and watch them, its good times! OH GOD! THIS ONES GONNA BE A SLOBBER KNOCKER!

Life starts to go downhill at 21 imo, I know that's a sucky attitude but being an adult just sucks

I hate growing up, I'm 16, (in half a year; 17) and I already feel like I want to get younger. Looking at pictures when I was so happy when I was 7 years old or so- makes me kind of sad. The life turns cruel and your mind gets full of stress while you get older and older. More to know about, more to worry about, less happiness in life.

I've noticed I don't play as much as I used to before as well, I mean.. the last game I played was Uncharted 2 a week or two ago, not that I don't have any games to play, I do.. for some reason I just don't play much anymore, on any platform. If life starts to go downhill at 21 years of age like kfjl said, then I'll have worse to encounter in age, as it already feels like going downhill and I'm not even adult yet.

i Dont think its so much your growing up, its that your getting board and sick of the same old stuff, i got stuck in a rutt like that a while back when i was 17 thought my gaming was done because i just up and stoped caring about games and nothing intorested me. So i haha went out side and shot my friends with paintball and airsoft for about a moth and some other crazy things that i dont normaly do and tryed coming back to gaming.. it hit me i was back in the game in every respect, im now 22 and married but that hasent slowed me down. ya just gotta know when to take a break from gaming is all i think it is for most ppl.
