Hollywood has remade a lot of things over the years. There really aren't too many original movies out anymore, everything is either a sequel or prequel or a remake and to be honest I never cared that much. I generally found it a little annoying how money hungry they all seemed by being intent on sucking every last dollar they could out of any series, character, book, tv show, etc. However, no I am truly pissed off. A Buffy remake is a horrible, terrible, sickening idea. Another take on the Buffy franchise would be one thing, with new characters and new stories but not a remake, not now. While I now that the reboot of the Star Trek franchise has probably given so many greedy people ideas the time is not right for a Buffy remake. Fans are still hoping for a continuation of the series that has only been off the air for 5 years. The last Star Trek film that contained the original cast came out 17 years ago. It is such a huge mistake. Now my anger is starting to dissapate some and I just want to watch the amazing brilliance that is Buffy the Vampire Slayer the series because no one, and I mean no one, is Buffy Anne Summers except for Sarah Michelle Gellar. Even in her most annoying moody depressed periods I love Buffy and that is because of SMG and Joss Whedon and without them there is no Buffy. I'm getting rambly now...so I'm going to say I'm done.

So I just started watching the first season of True Blood this week and I just have to say that Bill Compton is now third on the list of vampires a million times hotter and much much sexier than Edward Cullen. Second is Spike and first, of course, would be Angel. I personally find it offensive that vampires are so popular in tv and film right now and that these two Buffy vets do not get the credit of being two of the hottest men in existence. All in all, my overall feeling on the situation is that Robert Pattinson can suck it. And I'm just kidding around...except sort of not...because they are much hotter haha.
