I played about a total of 4 to 5 hours of R & C. I'm disappointed in this game...it got me SO frustrated. I hate the controls. I tried switching the control of analog to D-Pad, not much help. After about 10 mins of playing, by using the analog stick, my thumbs hurt...and that's not good. :-(
The camera is very wonky, and I hate it...it's not the same as playing it on PS2. It's like playing Me and My Katamari for PSP...it's just weird. If you LOVE R & C, I recommend you to RENT it instead, seriously. Or even borrow it from a friend. If it doesn't immerse you within a hour, it's not worth it. I did NOT beat the game, and I ain't gonna try.
Castlevania - I have played the NES version, but I could barely pass the first boss (I never said I am an excellent video game player), and there's no saves or whatsoever.
I really like the DS/ Advance games, so I do recommend you to try. Start off with Circle of the Moon, or Aria of Sorrow. There's a lot you can do...upgrade weapons, reach for higher levels, get experience points, etc etc. Sometimes it can be a little hard, but if you increase your experience points and learn what's the best weapons and strategy to beat the bosses, it will all be worth it. If you're "not sure", rent it. GameFly is your friend.

I always wanted to buy a R&C game when ihad a PS2, but i never got around to it.Neveer was smart enough to spend money on what could of been a game i could talk about today...
I KINDA liked the castlevania game on nes (#1) i played another one on NEs but it was so much dffrent then the first one so i didnt care for it that much... My cousin has beat all the Castlevania games on nES about 50 times each..seriously... And BTW, i loved the NES because there wasnt gAme saves.... I mean te games were massive.. a few games had game saves on NES like LOZ and stuff like that, and some games took high scores.. and i really miss those features
I actually dont own a GBA or DS... i was gonna get a DS last year but didnt.. But you are making the Castlevania games sound allot of fun now
